pyramid up or down?

What do you guys think about pyramiding up or down weight durring your workouts?

Since I've been training for the past 4 years I've always pyramided up weight and lowered the reps, but recently read that doing a few warm up sets first and starting off with a heavy weight is better for bodybuilding.

Just want to see what everyone thinks about it.

I like the drop down pyramid, I like to burnout on a weight and then drop it down and hammer out a few more reps. If I were going up it wouldnt work
