Hey fellas, I recently noticed when I'm doing chin ups, that my back is really curved, is this bad and if so, how would I correct it?

I don't know about bad but I would think that too much of an exaggerated hump would alter the focus of the muscle it works. When you stand upright do you have a roundedness to your back? If you're fine physically then i think you could teach yourself to straighten out.

Ahh, probably due to the way they are spotting or the fact they are helping more than need causing that to happen. You should be fine since it's only during your failure reps.

What u need to do is work on ur rhomboids buddy, they probably lack strength and dont keep u up straight. Try to walk with ur head up, shoulders way back and down, suck in ur gut and push out ur chest. In other words, u have to walk like u think ur the king of the world. I had the same problem, very bad posture, and this is how my athletic therapist helped me.
