hmmm, in my book 10 reps at 90 lbs. is an estimated 1RM of 135 lbs. Why would you jump to 220 lbs? You need to slowly push yourself each week. Instead of doing 10 reps at 90 next week, try:
5 x 90
3 x 100
1 x 110
