I don't think it's out of the question, People supset back and chest and shoulders and arms etc so I don't see a problem with it.

Not a big fan of training back and legs together. I wouldnt survive a training like that. Legs should be trained alone imo

Upper maybe but lower could be counterproductive imo

Because the lower back takes a pounding in most legexercises u might find this is the first area to get probs. Imagine squatting after deadlifts ect Dam!

Done that before.

As to the superset, depends on what the training split is and what exercises are used. I wouldn't recommend it personally, as this is 2/3 of the musclature of the body that you would be training at once. Full body would be better.

Intresting u prefer full body work outs Tim I was wondering are u trainning for a sport and do u have a log.

Not in argument of right or wrong (cause there is more than one way to skin a cat) but just intrested to see what u workout is used for

I used to play footy (AFL) but injured my knee this time last year. Still not 100%, did too much damage.

I'm not into full body training myself anymore. I found it was pretty good, but was hard to structure around sports training. It can be done, but not when you have a job, etc. My recommendation was made on what he was trying to do there.

I go for upper lower, which works well for rehab and keeping in shape. I don't have a log, can't be bothered recording it all twice. I'm almost back to previous weight (lost like 10kg as couldn't even walk for 3 months) and am looking to refine my shape and BF%.

I train in my back yard. I've got a power rack and stuff. Got sick of commercial gyms, even the more hardcore gyms are trying to cater for the house wives so I just went my own way.

I'm doing my postgrad at UWA. Not long to go now!

This is just me, but probly a lot of you others too, supersetting your back and legs sounds incredibly stupid and is nothing I ever would do. Yeah you imagine supersetting squat and deads, but dont you ever dare try it, lol!

I suppose it would depend on your exercise selection, yet it is not something I would suggest. I agree with Philosopher in that Legs should be trained on their own.
