what exersizes are there that hit the rear deltoid effectivly? im not a walking encyclopedia on exersizes so mostly my shoulder routine consists entirely of D/b presses. will shrugs work the rear of my shoulders?

Reversed pec-dec and DB rows. I use the last-mentioned. But it will also involve upper back.

Shrugs work mostly the traps which tie into the rear shoulders. Bent over dumbbell lateral raises are another effective rear delt exercise. Also upright rows with the bar close to your body and a narrow grip.

I wouldn't touch those with a ten foot pole! Nice way to impinge your shoulder.

Yes, and the fact that they don't work the rear deltoid...

Try this website and just scroll down to "posterior deltoid" - you'll have plenty of exercises to choose from....

I highly doubt that! You just sit backwards in a pec deck. Though not all are suited to this.

Are these people doubting Rocky? Have you seen him? He know's what hes talking about, he dominates many people. For example, like people in this thread that have posted their opinions.

So you're saying his physique achievements should be the basis of the information given?! This isn't about opinions, its about the mechanics of the shoulder during an upright row.

I'd say Rocky is here to learn just like everyone else (myself included). I don't doubt his achievements at all.

Good Rear Delt...
Bent Over Cross-Cable Raises
Seated Bent Over Lateral Raises (Allows for more weight)
Lat Pull Down Machine...Lean Back to almost 180 degrees and pull back like and upper back row...
