A training partner makes a hell of a difference in my opinion.

the best way for me is to realize that you will have bad days in the gym, in realizing that gives me comfort, but doesnt allow for me to give up...a strong diet helps, and just overall its all about "how bad do you want it" ....that phrase motivates me, b/c their were things about me that i vowed to do, and i promised myself..i workout in the evening so usually i think about my routine before hand and it sorta gets me pumped to go..not sure if any of that helps but anyways

its weird for me right now, im coming out of a almost kinda relationship *long ass story*, and i just lift to clear my mind and to keep things going for myself. Thats my motivation, and when Im not lifting and thinking about everything, Im usually not doing something, so it just gives me something to do.

I try to think about how this very day will never come again in a million years and that to be able to lift and train and enjoy being able bodied is a true gift. A gift that far too many take for granted and only care once its too late and gone from them forever.

Take pride in how you look and feel inside, the simple act of lifting weights makes me feel better in that I somewhat bettered myself today. Do it for yourself.

the problem with relying on a training partner is that you now have an extra set of excuses to deal with if he/she can't make it to the gym for some reason.

They key to motivation is getting rid of the excuses not to go. Or at least ignoring them. So unless its someone who is 10 times more dedicated than you are, or you're paying someone to go with you, I wouldn't rely on a training partner to get my ass to the gym.
