I'm thinking of switching it up and starting some HST...who is on it, and how is it working for you in terms of growth? Is such a programme amenable to a cutting phase?

Right now I've seen some great gains with push/pull/legs, but am always willing to see even better gains..

THe best program you will have will be the one you make yourself.

I posted Eric Cresseys program outlines back a few months ago. And Aylwin Cosgroves thoughts on program design as well.

i'm on week 4 of Hst right now. The only thing that bothers me is that i don't get to go all out 75% of the time . Only 1 failure workout in2 weeks annoys the hell out of me . Otherwise it's pretty good i think i gained some mass even in just 4 weeks . I'd be great if u did a cut with it where you maintained the same weight while losing fat and gaining muscle . i say go for it. the more things you try the better you'll know what works bets for you .

Not really. There's no way everyone can design programs.

Though the best one is probably the best programma wth some tweaks to make it fit for you.

Personnaly I think HST is awsome and yes it's very good for cutting.

Jorn, I've noticed that on the website in your sig is a programme which, to my uninitiated eye, looks very simmilar to HST, called max-stimulation...what are your opinions on the comparisons between the two?

Thanks Tim, I will look for the articles. I really need to meet Cosgrove in person, he seems like a fun guy to get a few drinks into so you can hear what he really thinks...lol.

They are indeed very familiar. Not suprisingly, because Dan Moore (the guy would designed it) was very pro HST and a leading figure on the HST site. Max stimulation is build on the same principles ass HST, but just added the cheat fatigue part to it which seems solid as far as I get the science behind it.

You realise that you are essentially agreeing with me there. Yes not everyone can design their own program, but if you aim to make a program your own by educating yourself you have essentially made your own program.
