well my chest is finally getting some mass on it, slowly but surely I guess. But the inner bottom part of it seems to lag, not the middle of the chest, but the lower inner part, heres a pic to show you:

the circled part, does that just come with mass? I'm assuming it just comes with mass over time.

I do declines and dips so my lower chest movements are fine, hopefully its just a genetic thing and will come in time.

I'm pretty sure that as long as you have good lower chest, then you have the shape you will always have down there. Adding mass will just enhance the shape.

You could get some pec implants.

lol....so genetic? figures, guess it'll come in time then. Its not a big problem I was just curious, its nice to actually see that my chest sticks out enough to notice that anymore, I still remember when I was some bird chested little 140lb kid.

Depending upon your chest structure, you may not be able to hit that area directly without some decline cable flys or decline pec deck.

Well unless you have some sort of chest structure that doesn't exist then not even decline cable flyes or decline pec dec will add mass there. Muscles have points of origin and inserition and if your pecs attach farther out from that area than there's nothing you can do to add mass to it. Just look at David Henry's chest and you'll notice the same thing:

If you slowly do add mass over time it will help thicken the chest and create an illusion that you are "filling that area in" more than it was before but you can't enhance a muscle that's not there.

I agree with G O R T, try doing some decline flys anytime I needed to add mass size to either upper, middle, or lower pecs that was always the exercise for me. I just kept in mind if you concentrate more on bringing your arms out and really getting that stretch, then that'll work the outter part of the pec, but when you really concentrate on bringing your arms back together and getting that squeeze is when you are really hitting the inner part. With this exercise, you want it to be a very controlled movement but also being able to move some weight and not some 10 lb. dumbells.

yea we already kinda agreed that it was just a genetic trait lol. Im just gonna have to wait it out and add some mass for it to come up. I figured it was genetic anyway I just threw the question out there from boredom.
