All over fat reduction. Up the cardio intensity and frequency. Get your diet in check, and although it won't help get rid of the fat it will help pull the area in, do your ab and oblique work.

Get yourself a food log. Keep track of what you eat and how many calories you take in.

Then its easy to get rid of 'bad' foods and make sure you are getting enough calories to maintain muscle and still lose fat.

U know tium has a good idea with the food logg. next i would suggest a few things. its generally to eat clean food if u know how to mix clean foods to give u the best energy/recovery/growth for u bro.

An example. i jst ate chicken breast 40Gprotein. 40G carbs from a cup of wheat pasta. then i took spinache and put it in a bowl and put some watermelon cubes on top(fruit/veggi). ok you may be liek i cant do that every time i eat. well its a lot easier than u think.

Meat, Slow burning carb(wheat anything or oatmeal), vegetable(green preferrably) fruit.

stick with clean foods once u get use to eating clean foods and your bodygets use to having them vitamin mineral wise then u will actually feel better, and when u eat junk food u will more thanlikely feel like crap bc its useless calories.

If your trying to lose fat i highly suggest a book called the formula 40-30-30 a personalized guide to weight loss. will definately help out. Its an excellent book about diet, and it explains everything along the way. It should def help lose that waiste line u want to bring down, also its explains the Glycemic index which basically is the main cause of fatloss/gain

Feel free to ask questions about anything ive posted, id be glad to help.`

Glycemic index can be a bit of a red herring. Remember that chocolate is low GI, yet is calorie dense. You can't just judge things based on GI, not that your doing that BigBen.....

Hey bro listen to Ben when he says this. I am cutting right now trying to get down around 10% bf and I just went out and bought this book last night because Ben also recmmended it to me and I haven't got a chance to read everything but I was skimming through the pages and they have a ton of recipies and examples of what to eat and when to eat it. Barnes and Noble have it for $15 in the nutrition section. It's worth it, believe me.

I am 2 weeks out from my competition, and I have went form a size 35 waist down to a 29 in 14 weeks with my prep. Some things I did of course was dieting and cardio, but also do your oblique workouts with no weight. When I started using weights with my oblique workouts I started to look blocky without a v taper. So yes, do like 3 different oblique exercises with about 4 sets each at about 25 reps and it has really worked for me, but this is only part of my ab workout. Hope this helps someone!
