visualization and planning are key to any real success in my opinion. Quantifying the minds ability is not a productive, nor realizable task, however. I know that if i find myself becoming intellectually lazy, I do my best to combat it by stimulating my brain in some way...

the prob is i'm using my mind more than ive been training. what i mend is i'm thinking more about how, when, reps, sets, tut etc than actually training. i always come up with the best idears but after 3 weeks i have new ones and everything have to start all over again. it so worse that i cant sleep at night because my mind keeps going and going.
weird..? yes it is but its a part off me, ive had it all my life. thinking about everything to much. i need to focuss on 1 program and finish that first before thinking about new ones that might be better.

IU'm wondering if you mean whether people can tap into their full mental potential, ibn the sense that we as humans only use something like 10% of our minds capacity or something, and you hear stories of the woman that lifted a car off her child when something inside her kicked in like a survival instinct. Do you mean how many of us can tap into that "survival instinct" of sorts to get the most out of our sessions. I think it's pretty difficult to get to that degree because of the lack of necessity. I think it does just come down to getting into a zone and self belief at a certain degree and that's the best you can ask of yourself.

There's also the hidden capabilities to learn how to type, and structure a sentence for maximum clarity of thought.

Seriously, the mind is what drives everything we do. You program it to be focused and resolute and that is how you will be in every aspect. Every great champion has had a very focused mind set that has helped them overcome any and every obstacle.
