I've been told so many techniques i dont know what to believe anymore. ive heard the grip you want (following the solid line on the bars) is to put my pinky all the way there and then bring it down and then go down and go slowly up.. PLEASE someone help me the hell out my incline and decline is right but ppl are driving me nuts with this flat bench.

You'd get more replys in the training section than the articles section.

And what is it exactly that you are asking?

grip w/e its comfortable for you. if I go too wide it hurts my shoulder as with if I go too close. Just find w/e works for you. As far as rep speed just keep it controlled. Don't push so fast the weight almost flies out of your hands and dont drop too fast to the point where the weight bounces off your chest. But, don't rep so slow that after your first set you are burnt out already. For me, I normally drop down as fast as I push up...its really just a habit i developed but it works for me which means it may not work great for you.
