well next week is my week off so I gotta make up a new split, my new focus is going to be my chest so I was thinking of doing one of Arnolds old splits, if anybody has it I would appreciate it if you could post it please.

Steve Reeves training was also catching my interest, I think I'll probably go with Arnold but opinions would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

I tend to think Arnold's splits lead to overtraining, unless you are chemichally enhanced.

It's my humble opinion that people tend to do too many exercises at too low an intensity in the gym.

I'd probably reccomend
Incline Bench
Dips
flyes/pec dec/cables (pick or rotate through)

3 working sets of 8 and as many warm up as you need.

even for AAS users I think arnolds routine is too much. He did like 5 exercises for each body part 3 times per week. way too much for anyone.

Well i saw this routine of his where it was something like Chest Monday and Thursday, and it was only a 5 day split, the volume was a little much but I do high volume and I'm good with it, although I was thinking of decreasing volume this time around, hmmm. Whats the word on Steve Reeves training?

i'm not too aware of Steve's training, as i never wanted to look like him...lol.

cable cross overs
flat flyes
flat db bench
incline db bench

I dont do cable crossovers, and I wont, not for a while at least. I find it pointless for people without a good sized chest to actually be doing this exercise. IMO the big movements for chest growth is Incline and Flat Db Presses and Weighted Dips.

so nothing on Steve Reeves? I'll do a search on him, hopefully I can come up with something.
