Hey, my first question is- is it okay to workout the same muscle group twice during my week. First hard, then couple days later lift little bit.So here is my routine to show what i mean:

monday- chest and biceps
tuesday- legs and abs
wedensday- shoulders and traps
thursday- rest
friday- back and triceps
saturday- rest
sunday- rest

so what Im asking is, for example, if i feel i want a little more pump in my biceps or chest, i just lift maybe 3 more sets for chest or 1-2 sets for biceps during thursday or friday, more leg lifts on friday, etc.
then starting over my routine on the same days.

2nd question-
And im just wondering about this one but im not even sure if it's true- what exercises should you be hitting the same weight with to keep the body balanced such as the amount of weight you use for Deadlift should be about the same weight you use with your Squats?

Im not even sure if thats true about the deadlifts should be same weight with your squats.

Thanks

Whether or not you can lift the same muscle group twice a week is easy, you can. Whether or not you should is another question. Go ahead and try it, if you start to show symptoms of overtraining then stop. Just be sure you get enough food, water, and sleep to counter the extra work.

As for the second question, I think its arbitrary. Honestly man there is no set weight ratio for each lift. I think everyone is different some people have strong legs some have strong chest. But ideally i think your lower body should be stronger than your upper, so squats and deadlifts should be heavier than benchpress. But I did come across a site a while back that had a weight by weight breakdown and how much each should lift, even though I think its bullshit I will post it if I can find it.

If you are gonna try twice a week I was gonna suggest the same thing as Fahad - have a light and heavy session , also do different exercises for each session aswell, if for no other reason than to stop boredom! But it will also be easier to stop yourself autmoatically going heavier on light day if you're not doing the same exercise I think.
