Just like your opinions on the best cardio to burn fat. Currently 192 at 5'10" around 6-7%BF. I would like to cut down to 175-180 for the summer. Right now I do cardio 5x a week 45 min. I train one bodypart a day once a week 12-15 sets, 3-4 different movements. As far as what I am doing for cardio, I like to switch up. I'll do some running, incline walking, stepper, eliptical, stationary bike. Is there a number of calories I should aim to burn off in that 45 minute time frame? How bad is running? When I run, I rarley exceed 7 mph and never go past 2 mi. I'd estimate I'm taking in around 1800-2000 cal a day with my protein intake at around 1.3-1.5 g/lb bodyweight. Supplements are creatine, glutamine, amminos, multi-V, and eca stack. Like I said, I'd like to get my BF to around 4-5%. Thanks in advance.

Hi House450

Looking at your plan it seems very sound I see no reason why you would not reach your goals on a diet/exercise system. Most people when they attempt to drop bodyfat make the crucial mistake of not keeping a training and diet log. You have to keep it all written down.

1) So you are aware of how much bodyfat you are losing (or not)
2) So you can adjust you calorie intake or aerobics to suit these needs.

Good luck and from the looks of it you will definately succeed

at your already low BF % to get to your target, you will have to lose muscle mass. Is there a reason you'd like to get lighter? Leaner is going to be hell to maintain...

record your progress. Write down your calories and use calipers.

I'm realizing that it may be hard to maintain. My body would naturally like to be around 215. I've been struggling with my diet latley as well. I haven't gained any weight, but I haven't lost anymore either. I just get so goddamn hungry at night. I'm fine all day, but when I lay down all I can think about is filling up. I'm going to try and take in a few hundred more calories during the day and see if it helps.
