I want to get my body fat percent checked before i start doing a lot of cardio with my workouts. where do you guys get yours checked if you do.

well...the best is a hydrostatic test, in which they immerse you in water. Check your local university for that. there are also BF calipers and scales you can use/buy but they tend to have a wide varriance.

The calipers IMO are the best combo of accuracy and convenience. Make sure you take the test before you work out for accuracy, since cardio or weights will show you as a lower BF because of the pumps making the muscles fuller.

calipers will give you the most accurate reading IMO

Callipers are the way to go

Personal trainers will have them usually

Make sure they have the REALLY expensive ones :)

Dont buy cheap scales like I did. They just take your height and weight in and guess a percent from there.
