From what I know its bet to try it when uve trained for a while using volume principles. Its an advanced training method using miminum sets, and promotes maximum recovery.

What I've heard about it's a completly useless training method (of course better than no training at all).

most people can give themselves 100% for 8 or 9 exercises, and seek up more volume with relatively "lower" intensity, then going for 1 set per muscle group all out till failure.

It's a nice method for a change sometime, but i didn't do it longer then 3 months, it's too stressfull on the body if you go all out like written out in the "new HIT" book by dr darden.
