I remember one time I went in and did a full 3 full curls with a 10lb Barbell. Man the pain I got from lifting that intensely is one I'll never forget. Practically blacked out!

Actually, I can't think of one that really stood out more than another as I try to steadily improve each time without going too crazy! I can remember times when I got a little more than I thought I was gonna get in certain exercises but nothing non-human I suppose.

Now if we're talking sessions where they were so CRAP that it was SUB-human, that's a different thing! :)

Mine was the first time I went in to train legs seriously. I had been training for a while but hadn't started legs seriously, so I wanted to catch up. Squats, hammys, leg press, SLDL, calves, leg ext, all strip sets all with forced reps. By the end me and the training partner were carrying each other across the gym. Then we had to tackle to the stairs to leave. At the time a had a manual shift car to drive home in peak hour, I could barely get it out of the parking lot.

Well, I'm only 15 so my lifts aren't exactly impressive, but I remember when I was training my legs doing leg extensions and then squats. For extensions, I did 5 or 6 sets with 10-16 reps each set. After that, I moved onto squats.

So, because I train alone in my house, I have to be pretty careful and not go too heavy or else I'm screwed. The most I had ever done in squats before was 120 lbs for about 15 reps a week earlier. This day, however, I started with a warm up set at 80 lbs for 20 reps. The next set, I did 90 lbs for another 20 reps. This continued until I was doing 140 lbs for 20 reps on my 7th set.

It felt like I was getting stronger as I went on. I stopped there because I was afraid of hurting myself or over working my legs, but I was pretty impressed with myself that day.

doing pyramid on preacher curls used to make my hands numb and i had trouble to even change my grip. It dosnt have that effect anymore though. now for me it is squats. i do full squats where im pretty much sitting on the ground. those for me a really hard to do i cant do much weight on them and get to 20. i can only do one 25lb weight on each side mabe put 2 more 5 on each side next week. then i do normal squats for sets of 20 with a lot more weight. i do this once a week but i hate it it is so hard. i used to get lightheaded after sets of squats but i didnt at all tonight. mabe they will not be so bad after a few more months of doing them.

Well this would explain how you've built those massive, god-like appendages of yours that you call arms!

Anyways, as far as my workout goes, it was probably this from this past summer. I'll list my weights used but it's not that much so be gentle guys

It was a very hot day and I was training in my old highschool's field house which is like a cinderblock cave with no air conditioning. After warming up, I started by supersetting front squats with squats. Since I'd be going lighter than regular squat weight because I was doing the fronts so my goal was do fronts first, then do 2x the amount of reps when I do my regular squats. So I started with 135lbs and did about 12 & 24, then 185 for 10 & 20, then 225 for 8 & 16, then 275 for 6 & 12 reps.

From there I put two 100lb plates on each side of the leg press and did one-legged presses for 10-12 with each leg, then to finish off each set by pressing with both legs for another 10-12.

Next I did leg extensions, don't remember the weight so I guess that's sort of uneventful lol. I then did parking lot lunges with 95lbs on my back outside in the heat. Three sets up and back about twelve parking spaces. I hobbled back into the gym and did leg curls both lying and standing for four sets each until failure.

That's it, and I'm not in any way of claiming to be a tough guy or anything, but my legs felt like rubber after the leg presses, let alone the lunges. Probably because I was used to doing lower reps and now I was doing much higher rep-ranges in the sweltering heat. I was just proud of myself that I didn't get sick (somehow) and I was even more proud of that deep burn I had in my legs for the next week, as uncomfortable as it was.

Obviously I do not do this kind of thing often by any means but every once in awhile for a shock, nothing's better than going in there and slaughtering yourself

There's a difference between overtraining and a shock workout. Overtraining is when you consistantly do too much volume and your body can't recover. You better believe that those kind of workouts are few and far between and I allow myself plenty of rest and nutrition before training that bodypart (or any for that matter) again. I'm suprised someone who's original question was "what's your most balls to the walls workout ever?" would say that mine would be overtraining despite the fact that I even clarified it was a "shocker" workout, not a regular one
