You seem to know what your talking about so what exercies, equipment, etc i should do and use when i first go? This would help me and my friend that will be going with me. |
Bro, first time I saw Ronnie (heck I didn't even know who the hell it was, funny to know now that the first bodybuilder I ever saw was the biggest) I was like WTF, why in the world does anyone wanne look like that. But now some years later, I look at it totally diffrent. First time you see them your shocked, but you get used to it and actully start appreciating it. Now I'm not saying that I want that kind of body, but I want to become BIG, and I was just like you at first. Anyway, enough with the pointless BS, you want some routine.
ok, start doing full body workouts. You'll see alot of people doing muscle splits in the gym, and I won't go discuss why this is bad and all you gotta trust me on this.
I recommend going 3 times a week. Okay, some points:
- Train leggs. Maybe you think now: but ofcourse, in that case, good for you! But alot of beach boys as we call them just train to impress girls and only think about biceps, abs and maybe some pec's. Trust me, they look silly with there chicken leggs. Now I don't wanne throw to much detailed info at you at once, but another advantage is when your training leggs your upperbody will actully benefit from this and grow harder too!
- You start with the biggest muscles groups and from there on you go down in size. So this means first excersize is for leggs, then back then chest etc.
- Start with machines. I know all the bigg guys are in the free weight area, but youur body has to get used to movements. Imagine doing Bench Press, you gotta push the bar straight up, and not have to wory about balance. On machines, you are following the forced route and get used to that and benefit from that later in the freeweight excersize.
- I''m not gonna make you a training program, because you have to learn and understand how to do so. You have some months till then, start reading here, and then week before staring post what you have in mind (you will be able to come up with something, it's not that hard actully) and then we'll point out what you can change and why, it's all about the learning proces.
- Lastly, you don't need an advance program, your body will grow fast in the beginning no matter what you do, but it doesn''t mean you can joke around, just don't make it too complicated. It's more important that you start training and learning the basics and EAT WELL (this means, start reading the nutrition section too from now on) nutrition is just as important ass you will learn fast there.
I hope (and think) you'll be hooked to training and don't quite after those months.
Good luck, and be free to ask.
