I decided in march I'm going to do a cut, but after thinking about calories and that I have to burn more then I consume it's gonna be very hard.

218 pounds 6'3 and a half, not in to great of shape.

I read somewhere losing 2 pounds a week is good anymore and you will loose muscle mass is this true I would like to get near 200 this month without losing muscle mass, and if I do loose it how much.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Calorie wise how much should I eat, and to make it clear I have to burn off more then I consume right?

Other comments and suggestions would be great.

From the corner of the gym where the BIG men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty-fives, A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees. Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack Chalking his hands and monstrous back, said, "Boy, stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, The trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN'." — DALE CLARK, 1983

Everyone is different in their capacity to lose and gain weight in a certain time frame. The 2lb a week loss is just a general guideline. ow much muscle you lose in this time frame is down to how much you cut out of your diet and obviously how much intensity you reduce in your training sessions. Expect to lose a little strength when cutting because obviously you are reducing your calorie intake. The key is to slowly reduce your daily caloric intake and increase the amount of cardio you do. Increase cardio and decrease calories slowly until you reach a level of reduction you are happy with, then stick at that until you reach your target weight!

write down hat you're eating on average and determine your calories,
then reduce them a little for each day /week whatever and do yuor cardio
dont drop calories too low too early or you risk losng too much muscle do it nice and gradually 2-3 pounds per week is good but just dont stop intensity of the weights muscle is muscle and still needs to be trained in the same way
just cut out all the crap and clean eating , then drop ur calories a little with carbs - increase protein a little to correspond with the drop in carbs
do your cardio and do your weights

i hope that helps AND makes sense mate
goodluck
