Usually a two muscle group workout takes from 50-65 minutes, not including the cardio. Just read around the board that's how I got all my information about splits and other information.

From the corner of the gym where the BIG men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty-fives, A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees. Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack Chalking his hands and monstrous back, said, "Boy, stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, The trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN'." — DALE CLARK, 1983

I doubt it will take you 65 minutes unless the gym is crowded and your going slow.
I'm not to sure about splits except for the one I use.

Monday: Chest/Biceps
Tuesday: Legs/Abs
Wensday: Rest
Thursday: Back/Calves
Friday: Shoulder/Triceps/Abs
Saturday: Cardio
Sunday: Rest

you should try and get your workouts done in roughly one hour man working 75
if anything legs shoudl take the longest i think but you shouldnt rush ur workouts but dont dawdel either. workout quickly but not too quikcly remember you only need to stimulate your muscles and then get out of the gym have a shake and get on enjoying your life

Anything longer than 90 mins can have an adverse effect on your muscle gains as it starts to catabolise a little if training in excess of this time. ( I think I got that right) It's not good anyway! :)

3 days per week is a good start if your a begininger or less then two years of training. then you'll get more edu on the things that work for you.. to tell you the truth most pros train the same ways we do. with training there no secret besides hard work. most pros train 4-6 days per week and one a day. no need for double split ortriple split unless your trying to compete. and remember that recovery and eating is 80-90% of it.

if you want to become pro like ronnie and jay cuts, you have to take steroids in order to become as near as big and cut like them. You can never get more than 20 inch arms naturally.
