Disappointing session? Are you nuts! lol. Big Ben is on the money - try them drop sets, if nothing else it'll give you a killer pump to minimize how "bad" you feel you did in the squat.
But, the fact that you are even considering taking a week off might be a sign to do it. Don't wanna go down a plateua and start getting really facked off with your sessions cos that's a surefire motivation killer, especially when you're drained from work. Perhaps take the week off, catch up on some rest and come back big time.
