Squat: 40kg x 12, 60kg x 10, 80kg x 8, 90kg x 8, 100kg x 7: couldv done 2-3 reps more but i was keepin my lower back in mind
BB Lunges: 40kg x 6, 50kg x 6, 50kg x 6
Leg Extension: 61kg x 12, 68kg x 12, 82kg x 10, 47kg x 10 Hamstrings
Wanted to do SLDL but i wouldnt hav had enough time and so i just did the one exercise
Seated Leg Curl: 36kg x 12, 42kg x 10, 48kg x 10, 54kg x 8 Calves
Tried out the new routine and my calves were pumped!
Machine Calf Raise:
- started off with doing 2 sets of 20 reps of bodyweight
- 105kg x 100 !!: utilising 5 rest pauses each lasting 5-10 seconds
- 2-3 mins of stretching
- 90kg x 20, 105kg x 20, 90kg x 22: by now my soul was burning!
Time: 65 mins
Result: Squats went ok but my lower back started to play up with lunges so i couldn't try out 60kg, also I wish i'd had enough time to do SLDL but i'll have to save that for next week... friday's the next installment of the calf routine
