Thanks fellas. Definately swapping back to my old routine next week, and today confirms it. Here was my PULL day:

BB Bent Row: 135lb x 10, 200lb x 10, 240lb x 8, 250lb x 6, 200lb x 12

Wide chins: x 8, w/33lb x 6, x 5 then bodyweight to fail

Deads: 285lb x 8, 330lb x 4 ?!?!?!?! 45lb lighter than 2 weeks ago?!?!?!

DB Row: 100lb x 10 (2 sets) - heaviest DB's we got

Close grip chins: x 8 (2 sets)

Standing Alt DB curls: 55lb x 6, 45lb x 10 - bi's were fried after back

DB Wrist curls: 33lb x 10, x 8, x 6

SUPERSET WITH

DB Shrugs: 100lb x 12 (3 sets)

Really hacked off with deads. I normally do them first in the routine but I could still feel my back from when I pulled it on Mon so wanted to see how the other exercises went first so that may have made a little difference. Plus my rest was quicker. Did the whole session in 45 mins. Still pissed off about it though.

Thanks man! Really appreciate the support. Just frustrating when it seems like I'm taking a step back, especially when I'd bumped that dead up so quick recently.
Glad you're following my log - thanks man.

Rocky about the food bro, try having high glycemic carbs in the morning and before u train, and right after, then then next couple of meals u can switch to low. have u experimented with a high carb diet bc that might be waht u need. Change your diet up keep the protein high, and try having a high carb diet. try it out for a week or so. Also start taking glutemine with some of your meals, Glutemine helps pack carbohydrates into the muscle! Try it out for 2 weeks or so and see how that works. If we need to change stuff up again then we will. PM me with progress bro, and your energy levels and what not.

I've actually got some glutamine but haven't taken it for a while! I'll start on that again. I'm trying to get all the carbs I can all day along with my protein! Thanks again man.

Thanks fellas! I know I'm fussing, but I was making such steady improvement that it's a real kick in the teeth to knock back the weight by that much - still I'll have to push extra hard to gain it back. I just hope legs isn't as bad...
Thanks y'all - really appreciate the posts.

Excellent rows, Rocky! Don't worry about the DL's. I did 'em for a year and they seemed to vary in strength for no reason more than any other exercise. A week or at most two and you'll be back at your peak.
