Ok - another arse session. Well not arse, I did it yesterday and I can really feel it nicely in my back and bi's and hams which is where I was working, but I'm fucked off about the deads. Here was my pull session:
Wide Chins: x 10, w/27lb x 8, w/33lb x 5
SLDL: 180lb x 10, 250lb x 8, 350lb x 2!!!!!, 310lb x 8
BB Bent Row (yates): 170lb x 10, 250lb x 8, 260lb x 4 - w/straps
BB Curls: 130lb x 7, 142lb x 3
Leg Curl: 142lb x 8, 160lb x 8
Chins to fail
Really pissed off with the SLDL. My whole body just seems to ache at the mo. It's like I've pushed too hard and it just feels too much. I don't get it - my other exercises keep going up but I am alowing on the big ones?! How can this be - if the supplementary muscles are getting stronger - why aren't the compounds? Doesn't make sense. My shoulders and pec still ache, my lower back is slightly aching. Think I'm going to change the routine to allow for more rest.
Push/Pull/Legs - more rest time between squats and deads, hopefully this will help my progression and allow for joints to ease. Will take 3 days off (yep, a whole 3 days! :) ) then try new routine.
