Thanks fellas! Really appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with front squats - only been doing them every other push session for about 4 weeks and they're coming on which I'm glad about - they need to! Especially when I started and it just hurt to rest the bar on my front delts - didn't think I'd get much more weight cos of the bar hurting! But I guess you adjust! Robcardu - I promise I'll post pics when I think my legs are WORTH posting picsa of - cos' they ain't yet, that's for sure! Plus they're hairy.

PosGMCit - Thanks for checking the log - these are dips:





Although I don't hunch over like this bloke seems to be and I hang weight off my belt!

^^ Hadn't heard that one, what with the position of the pressing I would think it would be pretty hard to target the upper pecs, if anything I think there'd be greater chance of injury hunched up rather than with the back in a stronger position. But I could be wrong.

yea i agree Rocky i tried to hunch over once, its hard :(..

With the back straight its pretty much doing the same, maybe not in a full motion or w/e

Rocky, so how are the legs coming? I remember on another thread you said it's your weak point. Are they getting bigger?

When I do dips on days i do chest, I bend over as much as possible (not hunched). This is so i can work the chest as much possible.

I'm with you Sick & hypocrisy. I do too - I even try and get a slight arch in my back to really get a stretch on the pecs.

With regard to my legs - they are indeed my weak point and fortunately they are improving - only slowly but I wasn't expecting anything less, so hopefully by 2010 I might not be ashamed to take pics!

Right on. If there improving man, thats awsome. Don't change a thing to your rountine. Even if its slowly, thats fine just stick with it. Remember man, just keep pushing your self hard and it'll come.

Oh you better take pics, trust me. It will make you push yourelf even more to improve your legs. Plus after 3-6 months, you can look back at your pic to see how well your legs progressed.

^That's a good point man. It's difficult to gauge your progress without before and after pics as when you see yourself every day you see the changes so slowly they aren't so noticeable as when you compare one pic with a 6 months later pic!

nic going man i love ur dips man thats huge its a wonder u have any chain left to pile the weights on! OR maybe with now ur eer increasing leg strength you're jut holding the 115lb dumbell with ur legs...
