BigBen, If you want to move here in August my parents would probably be glad to have you. My brother's leaving for law school in California and vows to never return. And since I've managed to pull my head out of my ass and get accepted to a decent grad school I'm gone, too.

Thanks for checking out my log, Evo, and thanks for the props q80 and Rocky. I felt like a pussy when I walked away without finishing my workout.

I appreciate the props, nuthin but a peanut. I am definitely feeling the soreness, especially in my lower back.

Squats and deads together is brutal for sure. Those dips are impressive aswell!

hey man! wow i like that session with squat and curls thats really good with your reps and numbers too. as for your shoulders....whoa!! hammer strength presses!! ive NEVER used one of those! you're really lucky to have that machine there make good use of it looks like you did! and ninety pounds on dips! man you're gonna catch rocky soon!!

Your training really smart man, i like seeing that in your log. Stickin with the basics adds great size man, im gla dto see that your not trying to grow usung concentration curls man. Excellant work!

Thank you for the compliments, fellas! The hammer strength at this gym is quite good, Peanut. And my mom buys me a lot of turkey, BigBen, you're welcome to it.

Saturday's Training:

Back/Biceps/Calves

Had some shoulder issues so did not train again until Wednesday:

Smith Machine Squats: 10@135, 10@195, 10@245
Calf Press: 15@270, 15@450, 15@590, 12@680
Deadlifts: 8@135, 5@225, 3@245 (Tried to keep the bar off the floor in between reps, but I lost too much strength. Back to the old way next time.)
Lying Leg Curls: 10@105, 7@165

Yesterday's Training:

Hammer Strength Incline: 12@90, 10@140, RP Set@190 - 10, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1
Hammer Strength Shoulder Press: 12@90, 10@140, RP Set - 5@190, 2@180, 3@170, 3@160
Hanging Knee Raises: 20, 15, 12, 8
French Press: 10@65, 7@95
One-Arm Extension: 10@40
V-Bar Pressdowns: 10@100, 8@150

I'm up to 190 now, still around 7%BF. So 200 in 7 weeks is looking to be on target.

Why not revive the log?

2 Sets of Leg Extensions
Smith Machine Squats - 10@135, 10@205, 6@265
Calf Press - 15@270, 15@450, 15@630, 8@810
Lying Leg Curl - 10@90, 10@135
2 Sets of Lower Back Extensions
BB Shrugs to the Front - 12@185, 10@315, 7@365
DB Curls - 10@25, 8@40, 7@55
Cross-Chest Hammer Curls - 5@60

I used knee wraps for the two heaviest sets on the calf press and I found they were well worth the cost. My knees felt fine the whole time.

I think squats are the most accurate indicator of strength, and with 6@265 I'm the strongest I've been since January, but I'm still a ways from reaching 8@301.

Today's Training -

Seated Hammer Strength - 12@90, 10@180, 10@250, 6@300
Low-Pulley Flies - 10@110, 8@130
Incline Hammer Strength - 10@90, 10@160, 7@210
4 Sets of Abs
Dips - 10, 6 w/90lbs, 3 w/90lbs
2 Sets of Pushdowns
