**** bodybuilding... I'm changing my life to be an artist. LOL, hope you enjoy some progress pics. They are in chronological order as you can see by the date on the camera. Actually the first pic was the weekend before I started the cut. Also you can see the progression of my posing, I think it's gotten a lot better. Also for 1/4 turn to the right, what do you do with the front arm? Is that a good spot for it? Anyways, I hope for some good feedback, I'm off to the gym to do arms.

Leg day was yesterday, I'm planning on retribution this evening, I killed myself.

4 sets 6-8 reps

Front Squats
SLDL
Walking lunges
Seated calf raise
Donkey calf raise
Low pulley ab pull-in

Personal best on the front squats which is odd cause I should have 0 energy due to lack of carbs... whatever, I'll take it!

Speaking of the cut... I thought I had a naturally wide waist, but it turns out it was always just fat. I'm down to the first notch on my belt, and it's not even tight. Also my pants bunch up when I do put my belt at it's tightest. Going to need to go shopping for some new pants/shorts which really sucks cause I just bought like 3 pairs of shorts for this summer. Oh well, progress is progress. I'm thinking about progress pics again cause I feel like the fat is just flying off now. I'll definitely be ready for show time.

Sipping on my Pre-WO drink now to prepare for my back workout this afternoon.

I think artistry is my new calling in life. I guess I can stop killing iron in the gym now.... We'll see who I impersonate on my later progress pics. Perhaps I'll unveil my face?! Who knows, surely not this man.

So back workout I just got home from while sipping 4 scoops of BCAAs:

4 sets 6-8 reps
Chin ups
1/2 Rack Dead lifts
Lat pulldowns (Thanks BR for the tip on keeping the elbows in, totally felt it where I needed it.)
Seated Rows

Was going to do some cardio but then I remembered I had to sign a lease for my new apartment. Had to jet and quick get to my new home.

It's time to relax with a glass of red wine that my buddy home made. Brought me 2 bottles... they won't last long. Stupid alcoholism.

Everything from this point on is what matters most. I'm in the show, and I'm nervous as hell! And crap it was expensive.

Started a new rep scheme to follow the Cut Diet program a little more closely. I am at the step where all workouts are 5 sets with the rep scheme of 6, 8, 10, 12, then 15.

Yesterday was legs and I'm telling you it was not pretty. I don't care how much weight you put on it, you do 51 total reps for squats, you'll feel it in the morning.

Legs went like this:
Squats
SLDL
Leg Extensions
Leg Curls
followed by ab workout
Twists
Ball crunches

Needless to say, I'm trying to find reasons to get up from my desk today, have to keep my legs moving and warm or I'm going to be STIFF.

Today is a back day and I'm excited to exhaust myself with the new sets/reps.

Diet is as together as possible right now. Only 12 weeks out and I still have a lot of work to do. Sitting at 204lbs as of yesterdays gym visit. I'm fairly confident that I'll make the 190 cut off for light-heavy.

Kicked my own ass this week. Workouts were hardcore and 4/5 followed by cardio. One word to describe the cut so far... hungry. It's all working though, I'm conserving my muscle and am happy for that. Tried to do progress pics the other day but my gf's camera batteries died and couldn't find replacements. I should have some more teasers for you guys in maybe a week. I'm mentally ready for the show and have a good grasp on my posing. Been racking my brain for a song I want as my performance song, I'm looking for something that really gets me pumped up.

Well I had some cousins come up from the south who I haven't seen in 2 years, so I had to party, and it was awesome. Had a small break in diet but it was worth it as I made up for it in extra cardio.

Monday I missed my leg workout, which I'm pissed at myself for missing, but there was just no way I could make it. Made up for it yesterday with a great back workout, and today I blast arms.

I'm in the process of moving, and working a crapload of overtime, but there is no way I can miss another workout. I have too much to cut to slack off anymore.

Yesterday I weighed in at 201lbs and am feeling excited for what is yet to come.

Just bought a bike this last weekend, and I'm in love with it. It's a Fuji Cross Comp and it's built for trail riding as well as road. My cardio is now interesting and I can't wait to get back on the bike everytime I get off. I'm noticing killer separation in my quads from it too, already logged about 50 miles.

I actually think that after this competition, I'm going to start cyclocross racing. It looks like so much fun.

Check it out for yourselves... or the 2 people who are bored enough to read my log, haha.
