Ahh you're lucky you work at a thai place, they have some of the best spices. I worked at a french/Mediterranean place only thing that wasn't normal in their use was sumac I believe. Everything else was garlic, pepper, lemon, salt and thats about it.

Haha, dude, it's awesome. I get free Thai food. I'm friends with the cook, and I grew up with the owner. When I skip school, I just go in and get free food. If I bring in my own food, they give me new ideas on spices and stuff.

What's Sumac?

Do you guys have any particular culture's food you like? It's kind of hard to word that question. Like, I loveee Thai food. Do you guys have a favorite?

Formaggio Kitchen | Salts, Spices and Stocks | Spices | Sumac (ground) It has a sort of sweet flavor.

My favorite foods are american, italian, mexican, puerto rican/spanish food. American being my favorite.

It sounds like something that would go perfectly with shishkabobs (sp?).
What do you mean by American food?

Ah, I didn't know if you meant that, or deep fried stuff. Speaking of which, can you eat deep fried stuff on keto? I've heard of people on Atkins eating hot wings.

Sickkk. Because they have a deep fryer where I work.
Do you eat eggs at all? I feel like it would be difficult to put down more than 2 or 3 of them without ketchup or some kind of sauce.

Yes I eat eggs. I either poach them, scramble them or make an omlette. I eat it with bacon or sausage, or sometimes I buy a low carb pita bread it has about 9 carbs for one portion and I make a egg sandwhich.

I can't stand boiled eggs however, I used to eat them down around 5-8 a day but now I can't stand them.

Oh ya, I guess you could add peppers and sausage and make an omelet. Hard boiled eggs are super convenient, though. But so are sausages. Hmm. Thomas, you're giving me a million ideas.

Can you almost eat an infinite amount of veggies? I made a piece of paper with measurements, macros, and stuff for certain foods, and I was looking at veggies. It seems like you'd get sick of them before you ate too much of them.

Right now nothing. I was a security guard for a little over half a year after working a few months in a restaurant but both places were unfulfilling jobs at best. I'm looking around for a job currently, maybe I'll get into computers or health care. Ultimately I want to fight for a living, i've been interested in it for years and haven't had the opportunity to do any.

Have you pursued any education after high school?

I see you're into MMA. My friend used to train MMA, as well. He taught me a lot, mostly about grappling, but some Muy-Thai, as well.

Yeah sorta I can get work when I need it, but my family is pretty high expectation with me. They aren't going to be satisfied until i'm pulling a solid 1k a week, which they think its an income someone my age should have for whatever reason. Puts pressure on me, but I don't mind.

That reminds me I need to get a resume together to apply for jobs tomorrow.

How was it when you first moved out? Like, was it difficult, strange, did you like it more than living with your parents?
I'm hoping that by this time next year, I'll be on my own.

Well my father passed away when I was 8 years old, so my older brother and I have a very close relationship with my mom, who never remarried. Don't get me wrong, I love living on my own, but there's nothing wrong with going home to see her and having a nice Polish home cooked meal lol. I talk to her almost everyday.

I'm sorry for your loss, Phil. But you seem to look at the upside of things, which is always awesome. Well, my older brother moved out like a year ago, and he always visits, so I'll probably follow in his foot steps.
Do you guys ever feel like your life would be a lot less stressful if you didn't live with other people? Like, I've been up since 4, and I hateee having to be super quiet in the morning and I hate having to wrap the squat rack in towels, so when I rack the bar, it doesn't clank. When I lift, I like to just crank the music, get loud, and get animated, but I can't do that on week days.

And thanks, Mike. Yours is looking awesome, as well. You just need to keep the damn thing updated! Haha, I'm just messing with you, it's all good.

Today I woke up a half hour late. I had to pound down my pre-workout meal in 10 minutes. I only got 7 hours of sleep, so I was pretty beat. I took 2 scoops of Vasocharge to wake me up a little, but my workout got intense, and I started getting out of breath. I realized that my cardiovascular endurance is way behind, so I guess I'm going to start to do cardio in gym class. Football is pretty much HIIT, when you think about it. That'll be every other week day, I won't really post it on here, though. Anyway, today's workout...
5 minutes on the treadmill
Dynamic stretches
Flat bench-45x13 65x13 (warm-ups) 95x13 105x8 105x11 110x8
BB rows45x13 55x13 (warm-ups) 95x12 100x12 105x11 95x12
Push press-ss-RG pulldowns
65x13-ss-50x13
70x12-ss-60x13
75x11-ss-65x11

Oh, and I watched that Dave Tate video where he talks about how nobody knows how to bench. I got a RIDICULOUS pump in my pecs. I know it's not a lot of weight, but I'm hoping the new technique will be easier on my shoulders, and it feels like it uses my chest a lottt more. Good stuff.
