Ya, man, that's exactly how I was last year. I was triple scooping N.O.-Xplode and stuff. Which isn't TERRIBLE, but I also don't weigh very much. Took a few months off, and now it works really well again. But, nothing can beat a huge pre-workout meal.

Plus every time I would drink that stuff it kinda made me gaggy. But once I started lifting it completely went away. Idk, just relied on it too much back in the day. If someone offered me a tube for free then I'd totally take it, otherwise I'm good.

Ya, I getcha. It's just that once you build a tolerance, you're laying down like $3 bucks for every workout. Just not worth it.

Today's workout went really well. After watching A Week In The Dungeon on Youtube, I started to realize I don't contract my back hard enough whenever I work it. So I focused on doing what Dorian does and at the top of a row, I stopped for just a split second. Set my back on fireeeee

5 minutes on the treadmill
Dynamic stretches
RG BB rows- 45x12x2 65x10 (warm-ups) 85x10 95x10 100x8 90x10
Pull Downs- 60x10 70x10 75x8 70x8-SS-DB row symmetry set-20x12
BB shrugs- 135x10 145x10 150x10 155x10

I got a bicep pump at the end... just because. It's been a while since I pumped them up. I just did two sets of really slow 21's with the bar. It was nice.

I'm kind of excited to eat a pound of steak with some fries later tonight. Haha, I told my parents to not even bother getting me a birthday cake, I won't eat it. Ever since I started eating clean, I just stopped liking candy and sugary stuff.

gotta love youtube,, sounds like it made a difference what ever you did, always nice to find a new approach to lifting techniques,

about that creatine, my old workout partner was a non responder to the stuff also, just never did jack for him, for me stacked with ALA it does wonders, i used to use this supplement called vanadyl sulfate, talk about insane pumps, you can still buy it but the last bottle i used a year ago did`nt do nothin like it used to,, could be a brand or something but it mimics what insulin does, to a certain degree, its also fairly cheap so you could look into that as well if your so inclined,

Haha, definitely. I use Youtube a lottt. I just find it weird that I used to be stronger. I used to bench 150, squat like 250, and deadlift 300. Granted, my form definitely wasn't what it is today, but I was moving more weight. If my diet would have been up to par, I think I would have grown a lot more.

Hmm, isn't that kind of like Slin-Sane or P-Slin? I've tried P-Slin. It was the best... but only for like 2 weeks.

the low down on vanadyl sulfate
It is believed to play a role in helping to regulate the body's healthy blood sugar levels, similar to insulin. Studies show that vanadyl sulfate mainly helps the muscle cells uptake glucose (instead of fat cells (adipocytes) uptaking glucose). Basically, by mimicking the actions of insulin, vanadyl sulfate forces more proteins, amino acids, and carbohydrates directly into muscles. Vanadyl sulfate is an awesome, popular supplement that seems to work for building better muscles;

Haha, you know, it's weird that you say that. Ever since I started bodybuilding, I've become a really, really focused person. I've stopped procrastinating a lot, I've become really straight up and honest, and I've started setting the goals of the rest of my life high, because I know I can do it. It's changed me, to be honest. I've realized that I am not like any other teenager. Haha, what other 17 year old do you know wakes up at 4:30 in the morning, is eating within 30 seconds of waking up, eats 6 meals a day, and doesn't cheat on their diet for months on end. I never even realized how different that is until a week ago. But, I don't want to fast forward, because the patience and consistency involved in this sport is what separates us from everybody else. Would it be nice? Ya, but I like the hard work.

Just read your log broski-heimer. You're album pictures are sick dude, you're like -%bf lol.

IMHO, I'm a big believer of 1.5 grams per lb of bodyweight when it comes to protein. I weigh 206, and I'm taking in 300 grams of protein, with 400 grams of carbs, and I don't watch my fats, since I'm bulking. I used to be like you too man. Metabolism like a hamster on crack.

Haha, thanks, man. I might just put my protein at 200g, carbs at 400g, and fats at 50g. So that's 2,850 cals, which is definitely enough. The ****ty thing is that I haven't been able to sleep very well lately. It turns out that one of my cats got fleas. That just so happens to be the cat that likes to sleep on my bed. I woke up with bites all over my right hand and back. So two nights ago I woke up at 6 AM itching and swearing. Last night, I woke up and just went downstairs. ****'s ridiculous sometimes. Haha, anywayyyy, thanks for stopping by.

Anyway, today's workout went... horribly. My hams still hurt when I go to do glute-ham raises. It's not that good hurt. It's like border-line injury hurt. So that just got me super pissed off, that, plus my itchy, swollen hands and back.

5 minutes on the treadmill
Dynamic stretches
Front Squats- 65x12x2 95x10 105x10 115x10 125x10
Calf raises- 105x10 125x10 135x10 145x10

Todayyyy was an off day. I got caught up in some stuff, didn't eat as much as I should have. I was probably a couple hundred calories short.

What I focus on is not hitting my calories, but my macros instead. makes it a lot easier.

yea its much easier to plan your days meals on macros than the calorie count, which you can just calculate once your macros are all figured in.

Alright, sorry, I know it's been a few days since I've updated. My life has been busy. Still getting meals and workouts in, but barely. I get my entire workouts done in half an hour, no joke.

Tuesday...
My usual warm-ups
BB Rows- 45x12 75x10 (warm-up sets) 95x8 100x8 105x8 95x10
Flat Bench- 45x12x2 (warm-ups) 95x9 100x8 105x8 115x8
Pull ups supersetted with push press
BWx10-45x10
10x10-65x10
20x8-75x8

Wednesday (today)...
5 minutes on the treadmill
Dynamic stretches
Squats- 45x10 95x10 (warm-ups) 135x10 145x10 155x10 165x8
SLDL- 135x10 155x10 175x10

After just 3 sets I was deaddd, and my half hour was up, so I stopped. I went a little over my cals today, but it's all good.

Haha, apparently some amusement parks will kick you out if you do anything perverted. Hershey just doesn't show your picture. I'm surprised they didn't catch my friend's hand motion, though.

Haha, I was going to say that you shouldn't really waste your time on Hershey Park. I dunno if it's because I've been going there my whole life, but it isn't all THAT great.

This mo'nin's workout...
5 minutes on the treadmill
Dynamic stretches
RG BB rows- 45x10x2 (warm-ups) 85x10 95x10 100x10 105x10
Pulldowns- 50x10 60x10 70x10 75x10
Shrugs- 135x10 145x10 155x10 175x10-drop-155x6

I really need to start nailing down my diet during the week. It's difficult to eat enough while still getting to bed early and everything, but I know that isn't an excuse. I dunno if I'm becoming more vascular, or I'm losing bodyfat, but I don't like it.
