I believe they hit both equally, because blood flow gets pumped equally in my arms when I do them. But hey that's just me.

yeah thats true man, exercise are so different for everybody. For me they hit forearms more but thatst he beauty of bodybuilding, it so unique to every person.

I feel them in forearms alot but I know from experience that as my forearms get stronger, the weight will be more evenly distributed and the effort will be closer to equal. But thats just me. lol

Killer workout today. Mitbar, I pushed myself pretty hard this time. Almost to the point of fainting lol. I really really wanted to do squats today. I was thinking about them all day. But then when I got there both squat racks were being used and I didn't feel like waiting, since there were groups of frat guys waiting to do it with awful form like they always do. So instead I did this:

Did 30 minutes on the elipitical today. Kept my heart rate at 130, which is 60% of my max. We'll see how this will workout with my crazy fast metabolism

That doesnt look too bad. I would just be careful if your trying to gain mass with that metabolism. Those eliptials are easy on the joints I hear, I love running though. I think im going to start again in a month or two. Before we get that lovely PA winter weather up here. UGH! I hate the frigid cold

I feel your pain. I'm from Chicago, and I go to school in the middle of nowhere.

I only do the elipitical once a week. The other two cardio days are on the stairmaster. Or I go play golf and carry my own bag lol

Hey Project, just finished power-lower and added in leg press like you suggested. I walk back and forth to the gym and the walk back was painful. Great suggestion

I'm still a wuss on squats. On last set I only got up to 275 (go ahead everyone take your digs at me lol)

Everyone at work is noticing a size difference. Layne's workout plus strong diet nets big results.

I like it a lot actually. I'm still playing guessing games with weights though, since I'm more used to pyramiding.

I pick a weight that's pretty tough on the first set, then by the last set I'm really strugglin to get those last couple reps out.

deads, rows, t-bars, looks like you've got that Back pinned down. Do you ever do pullups? I think those are great for the Back too.

Yeah. I love pullups. In 4 weeks or so, when I get bored with this routine, I'll add wide grip pullups and close grip pullups in exchange for pulldowns and cable rows

Oh and those rack deadlifts really hit your lower back. When I woke up this morning, WOW!!! I do it on the squat rack and set the bars at the lowest setting, then I stand on (2)25 lb plates so the bars are below my knees.

Good job with the front raises, if you're using good form than that is a great weight.

Don't fear the straps lol. All they are going to do is enable you to lift heavier weights that you normally couldn't with just your hand grip. Suggestion for ya, do what you can w/o the straps and then maybe for the last set or two use them for those seriously heavy weights. Good luck Project.

I used to use straps all the time, but switched over to chalk about a year ago, and my forearms got way bigger with the chalk. That's what I was planning on doing, just using chalk for the first couple of sets, then switch to straps. Especially for deadlifts.

i gotta try to the chalk, i saw remnants of it on a bar at the gym, so someones using it, i'm not sure if its allowed or not.

I had my BF% checked today at the gym by some handheld device,no way this thing is accurate, but i will have to use it to gauge myself. It read 18% for me. My goal is to get it under 15% by October.

Go see a doctor to get accurate readings, that's what I did. Those things at the gym are never accurate.
