You guys, I can't even tell you how excited I'm getting for this contest. I can't wait to bust my ass in the gym and in the kitchen lol. I don't even care if I do bad or not. Well, that's a lie, I just don't want to come in last lol. Great attitude!!!! Honestly I actually loved the contest prep, it was fun challenging myself everyday even on days I did not feel like working out. You will do great, do not know how your posing is going to be, but make sure you practice a lot!!!! The fun now begins for you, so excited for you!!!

Thanks pack, I feel the exact same way. The whole challenge aspect is what I'm going after. You always need to find new ways of pushing yourself or life gets boring.

I couldn't agree more dapack. I also feel it way more in my delts, mostly because I do one arm at a time, which allows me to better isolate the muscle.

I highly recommend trying to the one arm reverse pec deck too. Major burn!

Nice workout except for the bowl squats. lol You had a ton of volume in there, are you noticing more fat loss with all that volume? I know your eating good after all that!

yeah the bowl squats are no bueno. Been having terrible smelly gas all day that makes my roommates go crazy lol.

Haven't really noticed any change in fat loss with the volume. However I am getting major DOMS from every workou since my body was always used to 3 sets on each exercise, so I'm still adapting to it. Definately lovin it though.

I just do warmups on flat and incline bench. Everything else no because by that point I'm already warm. I'm lovin the new routine

So just got in my Dymatize Whey Isolate yesterday from orbit, and it's so good to finally have some good protein lol. I bought some Walmart protein for the weekend since I always order too late and run out while my order is being delievered lol. Also got some Animal Flex to help with my joints, and I think I'm getting some mild tennis elbow but I'm not quite sure what it is, awfully painful

Leg workout today peoples. Leg press was kind of awkward towards the end, my hams were getting tight for some reason. Definately need to remember to do a better warmup next time. I was totally feeling going to 12 plates today, but the tightness of the hams kept me from going anywhere

Leg Press (total # of plates)
10 plates x 10
10 plates+50 x 10
10 plates+50 x 9
10 plates+50 x 3 (UUUUGGGHHH EFF YOU HAMMMSSSSS)
6 plates x 12 (So I did this light drop set instead, so pissed)

BB Squat

285x9 (PR for me, these felt really good today)

Hack Squat (Tried a different machine than I usually do and I definately felt it more in the quads, going to stick with this one)

320x10 (Light weight, should have gone more weight)

DC calf stretches

So couple of stories here. When I was doing the leg press with 10 plates and 2 (25 lb) plates, some guy next to the machine was doing lateral raises. He looks at me and says, "Hey buddy, I think there's a little bit more room on there for more plates!!" I laughed my arse off with him and he gave me props. I thanked him for his comment and the good laugh.


And here's my rant:

Is it really that hard for a girl to just give a nice little smirk, smile, or just a simple hello at the gym? I mean WTF!!! There was this girl that I could tell was giving me eyes from across the gym the majority of my workout, which always gives great motivation So I go to fill up my water bottle, and mind you, I go to the farthest water fountain in the gym because they have the coldest water, also because I feel rude for making people wait as I fill up my huge bottle, and I wanted to look at my quads in the men's bathroom where I knew nobody was going to be there lol. As I'm walking back in this long empty hallway to get back to the gym, guess who's walking towards me? If you guessed the girl that was giving me eyes you were correct yay! So of course we make eye contact, and I smile and just give a simple "Hi." Nothing special or crazy right? She looks away and keeps walking

Why do girls feel the need to do this? It isn't like I'm trying to date you, or get in your pants, or like I'm going to rape you. I was just giving a simple hello since obviously our eyes met more than once. Does it hurt a girl that much to just give a nice guy a smile? Do they even know how happy this makes a guy? My rule of thumb is that whenever you're walking towards someone, and we make contact, I always say a nice hello and give a smile, whether it be a guy or girl. Everyone knows how awkward it is to have awkward eye contact with people. UUUGGGHHH. I could talk about this shiit for hours. Thanks for letting me vent lol.
