Hi hello friends. I need to start working on my sleep habits a little bit. It's hard for me though since I'm a night owl. I don't start being productive till the sun goes down. I've always had this issue lol. Normally on the weekdays it's fine. I'll go to bed around 1 or 2 AM and then wake up around 9 or 10. I'd still like to be getting more sleep though.

So I was thinking about this, and I'm going to add 1-2 drop sets after all my compound exercises. I wanna be triggering both of my muscle fibers, so we'll see what this does to my growth. What you guys think?

I think it sounds like a fine idea. I would give it a shot if thats what you want to do. Just make sure you dont over do it, thats all. I was thinking about doing something like that a while back. I still might do it. Let me know how it goes if you give it a shot. Goodluck buddy

I just started doing drop sets actually, I don't post them in my log though. It's great for getting more blood flow to the muscles. Haven't really noticed any changes in my lifts or physique but I just started so it's a little too early to tell.

Yeah I for sure won't overdue it. I'm only going to be doing it on the primary compound exercises. i can't wait to get to gym tomorrow. It's been way too long. I hope the iron still remembers me!!

I love starting incline first. It feels great to get all that blood flow to the upper chest and anterior fibers of the delt.

Nice workout bro! I just started alternating wich bench I do first and I think it helps. That way one wont suffer all the time. You kicked a** on that routine, I know you were beat after them dips.

So I know to most, the numbers that I'm about to post might not seem impressive, but for me, this was by far one the best leg workouts I've ever had. Considering that in June, I had a hard time doing squats with 185, I've come along way.

BB Squats (ATG)
185x12
205x12
225x10
135x10(Drop set)

Leg Press Machine
205x12
230x12
250x10

Quad Extensions
145x10
145x10
145x9

Seated leg curls
130x12
145x12
160x9

SLDL
135x10
135x10
135x10

Standing calf raises
280x12
280x12
280x12
140x12(Drop set)

Seated calf raise/leg press calf raises
2 plates x 12/2 plates x 20
2 plates x 12/2 plates x 20
2 plates x 12/2 plates x 20

Great workout Project, you have really motivated to get my legs up to par. Keep pushing my brotha.

I got a question for all, since i'm still doing Layne Norton's routine, what is a good Power Tricep exercise to throw into my Power Upper day?

Thanks boys.

I would switch between skull crushers and close grip bench on the decline bench. Usually just stick with skull crushers though

I cosign that, good advice my brotha.
Dude, your leg workout is impressive! You have made some serious progress with them squats in a short amount of time. I like the volume you are working with too, very well put together. Keep up the great work my friend! You are a beast!!

Thanks Mike. Forgot to add in the drop sets that I did, so then it probably would be over 30 sets lol.

Yesterday was a poopy day. I had a golf outing to go to for one of my classes. Pretty much just a huge networking opportunity. Everything was great, except the food. They said they would provide us with breakfast and lunch. So I ate before I left, took me about an hour and a half to get there, then thinking it would be perfect to eat again. The so called "breakfast" that they had was waffles. Fuking waffles!! I was pissed. So I waited for lunch after the round. I get done playing, so excited to eat, go upstairs, and the lunch is a salad and you could make your own salami sandwiches. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So pissed off.

Nonetheless, I get home around 2 in the afternoon, having eaten one solid meal, so diet was pretty much shot. Went to take a nap, wake up and realize that the gym is already closed. FML!!!!!!!!!!! So i ate a bunch of chicken and ground beef. Oh well, I'll hit it hard today bitches!

Killer workout today as usual. My intensity in the gym is wicked, I love it. I weighed in at 206 today. 3 days of cardio is really increasing my metabolism, which is already like a hamster on crack, so I'm eating copious amounts of food.

135*12
155*10

Side laterals
35*10
35*10
35*10

BB front raise
50*12
65*10
70*10

Bent over laterals
30*12
35*12
40*10

Reverse Pec deck
175*12
180*12
185*9

BB shrugs
225*12
275*10
285*10
135*10 (drop set with a 2 count squeeze)

Standing DB press
35*20
45*12
55*8
35*12 (drop set)

Calves
