awesome leg extensions, did you call guiness book of world records, i know you had to break it!!!! 918lbs for 60 reps, dont even think superman can do that!!!

I`m such a duffus when i post stuff, gotta throw a bit of humor into my threads,,

I was actually more impressed i did 200 on SLDL, last weeks max was 150,, i know at some point these gains will come to a halt, so until then i`m going heavy until my body tells me to cut the sh.it and go lower, its balls to the walls,, damn i hope i gain some size on this new routine i`m using,
but i always loved going heavy all the time, come on baby grow damit ,,

men its all about size lol I think thats the point of mixing up routines. Dont worry about size right now, have fun lifting heavy and getting stronger. Next new routine when you train for hypertrophy it will probably come fast once you switch back. How long are you thinking of staying with this one for?

yea size matters damn it.. lol...

funny i was just thinking about you today, have`nt seen you around for a few weeks,,

well the way i was figuring it i will go heavy for about 2 more months, or until my body feels its time for a change, I generally listen when my mind says lets move to something else,, i`ll see how this bulk goes if i want a cut right away again or just ride what ever size i get and keep on with some strength,,
i am so enjoying how the heavy weights tax my muscles, I forgot how it felt since i did`nt have a Straight Bar or Dumbbells large enough to truly push me,, and i`m doing a few new exercises that i have not done in years, like the SLDL and Regular Deadlifts >> which i hated doing in the past, but am wondering why now since they feel so good now.... ignorance i suppose years ago...?? yea probably.. lol

ya I noticed you were excited about the deads there. Its been years? ok that takes down my ****ness about how good my lifts are. You slds are now caught up to mine but beat it but a few reps but its your lifting mabey 300 on your regualr your way past me. I was teasing Proj I could lift more then him on his slds but he just did them for the first time so that took me down a notch. Ya ive popped in and out but everyone seemed to have people covered and Ive been going away camping every weekend. Should be around more now the rain is almost back full in effect.

years and years since my last regular deadlifts, i would say at the least 10yrs, always hated doing regular deads,, last week i did 250 x 5 on regular deads, so i believe i should be able to kick it up a bit,,

damn you SLD 200!! awesome!!! well even if were covered by other members, its always nice to have our favorites come in and post a message on our threads,,, bummer about the camping season coming to a close, is it already time to break out the boots and parka? damn i so do not want to shovel snow again!!!!!

205 actully. I dunno why but my regular deads are only a bit better. I feel sad know I mentioned my sacroiliac joint is whats wrong with me now. lower back area. Which is so weird because I thought it was the strongest part of my body well other then my legs but you know I always figure it was my strong point and now it might be a weak point forever... I ment to ask my chiropractor but i was thinking mabey its because I never stretch enough after and I have bad flexibility in my hipflexors and hamms. Sorry to vent this has really killed my enthusiasm for working out ive never had pain like this. This is also why I havent posted much. Ive never had a injury I couldnt work threw and it really sucks.

Nice leg extensions dude, I was doing 1000 for 85 reps the other day. It's a real nice pump.

Nice leg workout, do you ever do normal back squats? 200lbs on SLDLS is a lot to do with good form. The more you SLDL the more you deadlift, I gotta continue to get heavier and heavier on those too.

Good luck with the 300lbs deads!

thanks mike,, 1,000 lb leg extensions lol,, yea what a pump...

normal back squats will be done as soon as i get some barbell stands, i`m really tired of having to clean and press the barbell onto my front delts to do front squats!!!

Yea my sldl`s are coming up really nicely, i feel really good about getting to my goals of 300 , will up the weight next back workout this coming week, i believe last week i did 250 x5 so every week i increase the poundage,

No they have a machine for it, it combines the leg extension with the smith machine to create- the knee destroyer! (Leg extensions hurt my knees lol)

The last leg work out I saw I thought you did 200, maybe I missed the 250. 300's a big goal for SLDLs, your SLDLs are close to what you deadlift than mine are I thinki, I wonder why that is hmm.

ok, chest today, front delt is still feeling tight , kind of like its tweaked a bit on the left side right on top of the front delt, so i`m going to really warm-up my shoulders before i go heavy, dont want a injury,,,

so my chest is nice and pumped, have some seperation in my upper chest from my collar bone, so thats good, i`m trying to improve my upper chest, and the added weights on incline are working wonders,, flat bench went good, i added 2 extra sets onto 110lb dumbbells,and had 2 extra reps so thats good,, strength is for sure moving in the right direction, but i have to really keep my form good to prevent injury with the larger weights,
so ok, thats that,,

today i`m maxing my deadlifts on back day, soon as i get my coffee kicked in, my left delt is still sore, must have tweaked it sometime, not bad enough to keep me from working out just like its on top of the bone or something, odd,, damn shoulders anyways

And Heeeeeeeeeeeeeere weee GO!! to much UFC last night,,

A few things first,
since i started doing heavy deads and SLDL`s I have noticed that my overall strength has jumped in all my other lifts,

plus i dont ever recall looking as thick as i am right now. i know allot is due to the bulk, and the bf but generally i just look fat, now my over all mass is looking good,,

My focus is the next 2 months of this bulk, and strength, then i will deload for a couple of months and do a bit of a cut diet, see just what i added for muscle that way,,

so today is the day I`m going to go for my max on deads, last week i was at
250lb x 5 reps, so i`m shooting for 300lb today,, My Original goal was for Oct. 11th on 300lbs, but What the hell, things are progressing nicely,, lets do this!!

Tunes provided by Disturbed , this always gets me in the mood,,

Deadlifts
1x 100lb x12 wrm up,,
1x 170lb x8
1x 230lb x6
1x 300lb x1>> NEW PB!! wow that was fuacking heavy, got it locked out, but couldnt do another rep....
last 2 sets i`m dropping the weight and work for 5 reps in each set
2x 270lb x5>> This is also a new PB on reps and sets with 270lbs,, Man my Hammies are feeling this,,
I dont use a Belt but i do use wrist straps with the Higher weights,squat deep into the dead and lock out at the top movement, felt very good!!
I still cant believe that i neglected deads over the years, just imagine what i would be doing now, if i had been doing these for the last 20 yrs,? what a waste of time,,, But i`m not complaining, adding 50lbs in one week makes me happy,,

Wide Grip pull downs
1x 130lb x8
1x 150lb x7
1x 170lb x5
1x 170lb x5

Seated v-Bar Rows
1x 205lb x10
1x 205lb x10
1x 205lb x10
1x 205lb x10>> damn it my back is so fatigued,,


Reverse Close Grip PullDowns
1x 110lb x8
1x 130lb x8
1x 150lb x5
1x 150lb x5

so what i will plan on is using 270lbs on deads until i can do 5 sets of 5 reps, then i will start moving the weight up, which in theory should increase my max,
I feel real good, happy with my new max, should be more excited than i am, but it just has`nt really hit me yet, my mind is really tweaked right now, almost feel high, must be the endorphin`s or something,
