A regular plumber is not going to be able to tell you what you need, you need a ground water technician and people that are trained in well water systems. Get quotes from as many companies as possible as I know the wholesale prices on pumps and filters and companies really vary with prices and brands used the mark up can be ridiculous. If you can find out what you have in place I can ask what you need. Ill be checkin the log to love your powerlifting wo's |
Thanks Islander! The thing is that we've been having problems with the well for years. We've talked to a lot of plumbers around here and the people that test the water about this. They all tell us to run all the water in the house, pour a set amount of bleach down leave it for a set amount of hours (don't knwo the details) and then run the water till no more bleach comes out. This is supposed to kill the bacteria. I think it worked because we went from having 19 colonies to 5, but also gained ecoli.
So I have no idea what's up with that, was had a pump replaced amount 4 years ago and that's when we're thinking this happened, because like I said above, they didn't use proper bleach after they were done and it was night time for some reason.
My dad wants the water so that we can drink straight out of the tap so we'll be getting a filtration system at some point here. We're replacing a water tank or whatever it is that pressurizes the water to make them come of of the faucet.

BTW - I just met a guy at boxing class who is in his 20's/30's a chiropractor and a physical fitness trainer. And he can throw a helluva left hook! So there's another option. (Strong mofo too 6'2" 230lbs)

Thanks dude, I just decided recently that I wanna make a lot of money... I know everyone does but I'm actually willing and wanting to work for it.
That guy that you met must do pretty good as a chiropractor and physical trainer. I actually went to a speech thing with my school yesterday where a guy trained about being athletic trainers and other jobs similar like physcial trainer, having close to the same schooling.

That kills 5 colonies of coliform bacteria and E coli? I've never heard of that hmmm.
I wonder if the well could be getting infected water from the septic??
Log up a little later.
