Hey bros, I hadn't worked out for a while, but don't think all I was doing was partying. I worked for 7 hours straight moving wheelbarrows of topsoil from one side of the house to the other spreading it and then I had to run about 10 of those up a hill. I had my leg workout. Then I had to help my dad load up a truck and trailer with logs. I made 100 bucks and a permit out of the deal.

I've continued thinking about my plans for life and I know what I wanna do, and how I'll do it. You're only young once so I'll enjoy it, part of enjoying it is drinking, smoking, ****ing and partying. The other part is being the best that I can be at everything I do. I have high expectations of myself and I expect to do something huge with my life. Be the next great philosopher or some ****. Something.

I like to talk a lot incase you guys didn't notice. I just hit a great shoulders and biceps workout and my new philosophy on life is have fun. Unfortunately I'm a perfectionist so anything less than perfection has me stressing and thinking about making it better, A blessing and a curse. I'm not doing anything unless it's fun or the result will be fun. Lifting's fun and the result's fun. I had to make a fun routine though. So I threw down all my favotire exercises and made a new routine.

BB military press(not a fav but vital)
105-10
110-8
115-6 all stopping 1 rep pre failure.

DB seated shoulder press
35-10
40-10
45-8
50-10(I remembered that this is a bitch weight so I told myself how light it was and it was easy)

Barbell curls
bar-10
55-10
65-9,8
Cheat curls(the others were perfect form)
70lbs-10

Hammer curls single arm
35-12,12
40-10,10,10,9(alternating arms)

I'm lucky because I can trick my mind into doing what I want- I can make my adrenaline rush just from thinking about it. Every time I pick up 350lbs from the ground I tell myself it's 350lbs and the whole gym's watching, there's no room for failure and that pushes me through it. Deads are the only exercise I physically have to do this for. That's why deads are the most grueling. I do it for squats and bench sometimes too if I need it.

But alright guys I'm gonna go get a flask of brandy and a dimebag or something. Lifting's priority every day just like work is for my friends. I worked out and I ate well, now I'll go smoke out with the homies lol, peace out guys.

Nice workout - you an intense SOB! Just because u are young and strong - don't think you are invincible and don't have to take care of your body/ brain!!! Have fun and party in moderation - don't fry your brain on too many hits or too many shots of brandy. Believe it or not it does catch up to you! I found that out when I was about 20 - and i wish I'd realized it when I was yor age! But you are a smart guy and already know that, right? Take care bud & remember "Moderation" is the name of the game.

BTW - I just had a party for my 50th bday and 2 of my friends from college (both 50 now) came and felt that they needed to get high & drunk at the party to "have a good time" I have nothing against it, but it was pretty pathetic to see that - they were so stoned they just stayed by themselves and IMO missed the party! That's what happens to some people. They both make lots of money (or so they told me!), but in my eyes are loosers cause they are missing out on "real life." and they were both the "popular" ones in college..... (Sorry for the sobering tale )

To fully see where I'm coming from I need to tell you a little background info. As far as the smoking and partying goes that has all been thought about and I figured out the perfect way to do it. A balance that allows me to stay in shape, get bigger and stronger, but also meet some girls and party and enjoy myself. I need a little stress relief right now. I'm being accused of stealing 500$ from my own parents right now. Somehow they misplaced it and I'm getting blamed till they find it and apologize for being *******s.

I used to think I was missing out on life too because of smoking. But honestly it enhances life. Here's how I think of it, you only life once, enjoy life to the fullest. That said you can't enjoy it to the fullest in jail or poor. I know that, I'm going to have an extremely successful career and life, I don't mind working my ass off if it benefits me. School of course will benefit me like nothing else. After a day of school, parents bitching, lifting, and having to basically share a wall-less room with my brother I'm pretty stressed. Now I'll admit lifting is a huge stress reliever and I don't need weed for anything other than fun. I'm perfectly happy sober because everything's going for me. And smoking does nothing besides help me relax and help me eat more hahah. I've been drunk like 6 times in my life, it's not something I do much just here and there recently. Trust me bro I have my **** under control, I'd like to be a model to show ppl that just because you smoke/drink you can't be wildly successful. It's all about priorities.

No offense dude but I think you're being a little close minded by labeling them losers because of something they did one night. That's like calling everyone who gets drunk a loser in my mind. Just my opinion of course but I try to accept everyone for their differences because you never truly know where most ppl have been in there life and where they've came from.

3/4 cups oats
1 packet oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups tea
2 pieces WG bread
1 can tuna
cheese stick
salad
dressing
1 swai(Awwwwesome fish)
1 1/3 cups brown rice
1 cup peach juice
2 cups watermelon
2 scoops protein powder.

Didn't do the macros yet, I'm gonna do the finally ones are the end of the day.

stilled amazed how solid your deadlifts are, you could probably hit 500lbs before you get out of school.

Thanks bro, I could hit 500 before i turn 18(i turn 18 right after i graduate high school). The question is can i do it without getting a hernia haha. I want 400 dude. I made almost not progress strength wise last year and that's bull****. A year of ****ing around. I'm still pissed about it but nothing I can do but workout tomorrow and eat right today unfortunately.

Nice timing dudes. I hit a decent workout earlier. I REAAAAALLY wanna hit legs tomorrow, you have no idea how badly I want to do that.

Eh yeah but sometimes is real work or a long bike ride. The weights haven't been listed, not because I don't still love them but because I love hanging out with friends too. When they call first thing in the morning and say that there's something fun to do I usually leave and go hang out. Recently I've been making working out like my job- I have to do it before I can hang out.

Haha yeah dude me too. I forgot my gym membership to I couldn't do legs! Now I have to do arms here I guess, I wanna do a really go intense arm workout.

Good news though, we were at ****'s sporting goods today and found a pull up/dip station that was also a squat rack and bench rack. Perfect, it has everything on it that we don't already have am home. Can't get it till October but it'll be cool when we get it.

I'm gonna go do this:

Lying curls

Wanna switch it up a bit here

Close grip bench?

Overhead tricep extensions

Rope extensions

Rmike I can't do your routine at home today, but I'll be doing it at the gym next time though!

Very nice bro! Im gladf you like it. I will switch mine up soon but ill go back to this again after a while. I love the pump I get from doing bi's and tri's together. Have you ever supersetted Bi's and tri's? Its ridiculous. Like you just keep pushing all that blood in your arms from the front to the back, they get huge!

you ever try and just adding like a
5lb plate on each side to increase your strength? sometimes even the smallest bit of weight can help you to improve strength, i remember reading a book years ago, probably even before you were born that talked about just adding even 2 1/2 pounds on each side of the bar to improve your max, keep adding that little bit of weight each time you can lift it to the reps you want and then add another 2 1/2 pounds, over the course of a year if you can keep adding that little bit of weight it adds up ,,
I believe the reference or story this book had was about a farm boy that started to carry a little calf on his shoulders each day everyday, as the calf grew so did his strength, as the year ran on and the calf grew he was able to carry the full grown calf or i guess it would be a cow if its full grow on his back,, point of the story was, even the littlest bit of weight makes you stronger in a progressive load style,, just thought i would throw that out there,,

Thanks for the support guys. MikeH, that's what I do for my deads. It's always worked better than anything else for me to gain strength. I need to get as fired up for squats as I do deads. My house is extremely stressful. Whenever my brother gets helled at I hear it too cuz we don't have walls! I got like 6 hours of sleep last night, and school's definitely not gonna help that.

I want a hot tub! I just decided that taking a hot shower will be my stress relief. Followed by a good breakfast! Gotta set my self up for success early in the day. And I'll tell ya not having insulation yet in the back of my house is killing me. I'm fully clothed and am wearing two blankets and I'm still kinda cold.

If I'm having trouble I'll go over to my friend's house, he only has 100lbs for his bench. I make him sit on the bar as I press him, if I get stuck he rips ass in my face. That really makes the weight go up fast- wheeeew he reeks lmao.
