Hey guys, just got back from the gym, I saw a few people I knew there from my school including the truancy dude haha, he's cool though.

210-7 This was tough but I had to match rMike haha one rep short.

That's it, I hit it pretty good, I'll be pounding down the food today. I want to do 220 for 4 reps next time. Gotta get the 1RM squat up.

Alright well that's crap. I'm about to crisin my munchies and get some FOOOOD. Nature valley bar, nuts, hopefully another source of carbs. Tomorrow's an off day :( now I have nothing to do. Maybe I'll go for a bike ride, I love bike rides because it gives me the freedom to travel anywhere I want. That's something I haven't had before because I don't drive yet.

60g fat and 370g carbs is maybe half exceptable, protein's too high I'll bring that down. See the problem today is that I didn't do the macros till the end, usually I know where I am so I know what to eat, I didn't do that today. I will tomorrow, it was slow but I'm finally 100% on track and I'll chop off my foot before I leave these tracks.

It's a Vietnamese fish- wicked good. Since today's an off day I'm gonna put together a really good diet. I think it's also worth noting that I go below parallel on my squats, I go as deep as I comfortably can. I've squated 280 on box squats set for parallel. I'll start doing that box squats again once school starts.

Now that I think about it I'm excited to be able to lift there again with friends. This time I'll be the strongest though. I increased my bench so I'm 20lbs above the stronger kids I workout with. Most people I know do box squats and they still pretty light. Then of course no one deadlifts so no one's even close to me on that one. I feel pretty good about my strength and progress, I really need to force on hitting 250 on bench.

If I can set specific goals like increasing my bench and squat then I know what I'm doing, it's already planned out for me. I'll be able to focus on a big goal now and a big number. 250's big, I think.

Mike, you ever give front squats a shot? you're deads are amazingly high so im guessing your hams must be pretty strong, so maybe front squats would benefit you a lot, ive been incorporation them since my hams are to big, my quads are starting to respond nicely

To tell you the truth, I don't know how to front squat. I've tryed it and it never feels right. Now of course that's no excuse, I just need my dad's massive friend to show me how to do them. My hammies are actually pretty well developed, so yeah I need to focus more on my quads. I can't wait to get my squats up, I expect them to jump up now that I'm giving them more attention.

Try training them twice a week. My squat went from well.. lets just say 225 felt really heavy about 2 months ago, and now 315 is going up for full 10 reps easily. I do Squats, Hack Squats, Leg Press and Leg Extensions for the quads twice a week and it really improved my strength.

Haha, don't worry it took me forever to do them aswell, one thing i can advise if you wanna give it a shot is, do box squats with front squats, and keep in mind that you should be able to draw a straight line through the bar and your heel, i have to normally warm up on box squats before i do regular front squats lol :P

Thanks guys, I can't wait to try out these box squats. I read an interesting article about squatting that was sent to me and I think using those techniques will help me squat what I deadlift!! If I could do that then I'd feel truey strong. I didn't feel the energy to workout earlier, and I've been thinking about it and pumping myself up all day. I'm really tired, I don't know why, and I have school tomorrow. I'm actually about to fall asleep haha, I'm sure after I hit that first set of deads I'll be jumping up and down though.

Now that school's starting I'm hoping that'll make it easier to workout as much as I do. I can just lift in the weight room after school with my friends. I'm gonna get some NO Explode after my dad runs out of NAno Vapor- we share it. But I love NO explode I'm really struggling with my consistency but again now that school starts all I have is lifting eating and school so in a way it's good.

I'll never deadlift 375 for 8 like rMike, buuut I could probably hit 340 for 8 haha. Let's see, 330-5,335-4,340-3,345-2,350-1. I'm trying to build my strength back up, this inconsistancy's killing me. I need to be lifting all the time, I can't wait for a month from now, I'll see some real progress cuz I'll finally start being consistant.

Anyway, I'm done rambling, I'll go eat take some NANO vapor and workout.

Alright guys, a little change of plans, I forgot my belt! So I had to bench, but it's good cuz I saw someone I knew there (getbigordietryn on bbd) and we caught a good chest workout.

Bench
175-10
185-4
205-1

My strength is going down the crapper, definitely need another run on 5/3/1 that really works well.

DB press
55-10,9,8,8,7

Dips
10,12,10,10,10

That's it, no incline. Mo, mo weight. I think the only reasonable solution is this- second day of school means no more partying or smokign or anything. I know it'll work cuz I only do that stuff when I'm bored. So school is from 5:30 till 2:30 basically then I do homework, then workout get home at 6, watch tv eat and go to bed. It'll be a new and welcome form of life. I'm really for it, the past year I've been spinning my wheels. I'm not gonna say now's so much different and make promises and **** I'm just gonna go do it. Let the results speak for themselves- no more ****ing around.

Now time to EAAAAT.

Bottom I can maybe get it up 2 inches. Also the numbers were down today because I was doing a lot of pitching yesterday and my elbow's sore. I'm not making an excuse, it's just a fact that it was touchy in every set I did.

my friends pitching and playing football too, and lifts with me when he can so i know exactly what you mean lol. I had the same problem, but i started hitting db presses heavier and heavier and my bench progressed because of it. I know you're not a fan of them but.... give speed reps a shot

My arm actually says speed reps on bench right now. 400's going down. My goals my November first are as follows: bench-235, deadlift-380,squat-300.

I have some teachers that let me eat in class. I'm bringing brown rice and chicken breast to school and I'll eat whenever I'm hungry. I have 7th period lunch and I'm not waiting 4 hours to eat **** that. I'll eat a tuna sandwich on the way to 3rd period and I'll eat chicken and rice for lunch. Nature valley bars and a protein shake in 8th period and then I'll workout after school.

Right now I'm pretty pumped, my deads are still ****ty but I'm making progress so I can't be too pissed.

agree with mike, your deads are killer at your age and weight!!!!!! plus look at the upside, once your squats go up it should rollover to your deads too.
