hey Hatch - thanks for stopping by! the winny is usualy asociated with a cut, but I am going to add it at the end to see if it helps me get my bf down before the end of the cycle. Also it hardens up your muscles (mostly for the ego....) so should give me a bit of a mental boost at the end when I am thinking, "****! I have to go back to "normal" test for a 49 yr old man?" I tried it on a cut about 1 year ago and I got some nice abs going. One thing i don't like about the bulk cycle is that the abs seem to be covered by a layer of fat. i want to finish this cycle with visible abs and if i don't fit into my old jeans i want it to be the size of my quads and not my waist! hahahaa

Stay tuned and you can see if it works.

Got interrupted before:
TUESDAY!!!!

Repetition Lower Body
*** 10 mins stretching
REPETION LIFT
Box squats
2 x 20 x 95;
10 x 145;
10 x 195
SUPPLEMENTAL LIFT
Walking lunges
100 steps w 60lbs
Hamstrings
(Tried pull throughs but didn't seem rite - got to google the proper form)
Romainian deads
20 x 95
10 x145
10 x 195

Grip strength
Cable wrist curls
3 sets 10 x 100lbs
DAMNNNNN! forgot my extreme stretch!

AFTERNOON (planning)
60 mins Cardio Boxing

Had a nice chat w/ a cute girl doing abs while I was doing wrist curls...She said I was "so lean" at the beginning of the year and now I look "all Muscley." hahaha - i guess that was a complement! I'm guessing she likes lean boys - prolly single ones too- LOL!

Wed was rest day - meals were good but not getting enuf carbs. i won't eat white bread, pastries etc. and it's hard to get enuf whole grain stuff. Got to change that if I really want to grow on this cycle. Only other wed note - 250 HCG into the belly fat - amazing those slin needles are so tiny i don't even feel it!

Thursday

10 x 6 plates
10 x 7 plates

walking lunges
2 x 36 steps w 60lbs

ham/glute raises
4 sets 15 x 110 (really squeezed the hell out of my glutes at the top!)

And just for fun...
Bioisolater (Machine bi curls)
10 x 110
10x140
10x160
10x180

Thanks man. I'm 6-2 so my toes stick above the plate when I press - that way i can pretty much keep my feet flat through the whole motion.

Here's today bros:
Hey Dudes;

Friday (light Day)
Standing Calf raises (trying to nail my calfs so they will grow)
20 x 250
20 x 330
12 x 405
12 x 405

SEated calf raises
15 x 2 plates
12 x 3 plates
8 x 3 plates
4 x 3 plates

ABS
50 crunches x 2
captain chair leg raises - 2 sets 10
ab crunch machine 2 sets 20
incline crunches 3 sets 20
Cable pull down crunches 3 sets 10 x 100
hanging leg raises 10 x bw; 10 x bw +25

HIIT 20 mins elliptical (this was excellent!)

I'll attach the diet too - I'm losing weight at 3500-4K cals a day... LOL I weighed in at 210 today down from 214 on Monday. Thes macros are without dinner or my 11pm cottage cheese snack....

Legs and Biceps, Chest and back. Those combination's to me are unorthodox. If i was you i would be training to get the most out of the gear.

I totally agree - I'd like to get the most out of the gear - but what do you mean? chest & back seems like a pretty common paring. Legs & bi's is a little wierd I know - i just did the bi's cause i had lots of energy and there are a coupla new machines. So to get "the most" out of the gear would you do only one body part? I'm not really understanding your comment...

i think what he means is chest and back are two of the biggest body parts, so giving them their own day is best.

i've never run actual gear, but you probably want to be training high intensity and heavy all the time. just keepin pushin them weights bro!

Like you do 2 exercises for chest and 2 for back. If i was on gear i would be doing 3-4 for chest and 5-6 for back and working them on there own day. I would keep things simple and work everything on there own day maybe doubling up a few things but that's it. Like a good split to me would be the one I'm doing right now..Lol. But it seems to me you aren't training to get the full extent of the gear itself.
1-Quads Calves
2-Chest Biceps Abs
3-Back Triceps
4-Hams and Calves
5-Delts Abs
6-Arms
7-Off
But of course i like this one because I"m doing it....

Yeah okay - got it. That is kind of what I was doing... now i am trying to work out only 4 days a week to allow for more recovery time and do the Westside style.

Thanks for clarifying it tho.

Well your body recovers way faster on gear than natural so why not workout the most you can and take advantage of it while you can? I'm natural and i train 6 days a week so i think you could be getting away with a lot more than you're doing. No disrespect to you at all Bro.

Keep your dam opinions to yourself bud!..... Hahahaha - j/k - no disrespect taken. You clearly know your **** and I really appreciate your input! I am weighing lots of ideas now and trying out different approaches to see what works for me. I am not getting the miracle recovery with gear this cycle that i got with last. that might be partly that i am pounding the **** out of my body 3x a week wit the boxing - or maybe the test/deca combo. Anyways my goal this cycle is strength for the first 10 weeks and then mass & definition the last 5 weeks. To me this is a big experiment - my body really hasnt "grown" in 15 years (which is not to say it hasn't changed) so i truely am trying to teach an old dog new tricks. Thanks tons for the feedback, jesse!

HYPERTROPHY LOWER BODY

warm up
5 mins stretching
2 sets box squats 10 x 65

Box Squats
12 x 135
10 x 185
7 x 235
7 x 205 (Kinda crapped out on these last 2 sets - really was box squats reps 1-3 and regular squats 4-7; i din't think I could lift it if i went all the way down to seated. Maybe i should have gone lighter?)

Leg press

12 x 4 plates(ea side)
10 x 6 plates
8 x 7 plates
7 x 8 plates
10x 5 plates

ham/glute raises
4 sets 10 x 110

Butt Blaster
(one legged ham glute raises)
3 sets 10 x 7

Took Sunday off to recover from last week. my arms are still sore at the attachment point of the tricep and bicep to the elbow, also point of attachement of forarm muscle to elbo.- this is mostly from boxing last thursday nite (knocking out hooks and recieving the same)

I took a dbol last nite & will do so again today to see if this adds a bit o water to the joint and speeds recovery. Meantime I'm off boxing till next week. Wed-Friday I am skiing - so no workouts.

The good news - I seem to be getting a bit more vascular - don't knopw if this is because i am getting leaner - seems like i still have a constant amount of belly fat - no change there.
The bad news - i dropped 2 lbs to 209! so in 6 weeks I am up only 8 lbs.... Hmmm Going to try to eat more, but i am hell bent on not doing a "dirty Bulk"

That's it dudes - oh BTW - major victory - 0 cals of Easter candy consumed!!!! - it helped alot that it wasn't See's chocolates - mostly laffy Taffy.....;-)

yo dudes
just got back from the gym - did 20 mins hiit on the elliptical - really worked up a sweat, Also tried out some front squats - never felt good doing them so You Tubed them on my iphone and got my form down - damn this modern technology! LOL also did a few leg extensions at heavy poundage - didn't treally feel like I hit the quads hard enuf this am.

Tomorrow is the last workout for the week - then it's just cardio skiing.

Checked out another boxing gym tonite - found the real deal - looked like a scene from a movie! Conc block building, steel rollup door - no windows....inside a coupla guys training for a relatively big fight here locally and a bunch of others (mostly kids from the 'hood. I'm excited - may change my moniker to Rocky!
so I'm going to take some lessons there for a month or so.

Tonite is test deca nite so I've got to go lock myself in the bathroom and find a nice meaty thigh to pin - hahahaha
later dudes

going to stuff my face tonite - only had 2 shakes, 2 muscle milks 3chicken breasts, 10 egg whites and one sweet potato - can't believe I am LOOSING weight on a bulk!

Nope - I think I've been really lucky - only once about 4 weeks ago - hit a nerve or something and my quad hurt like an SOB for 7-10 days. Def wouldn't do gear if that was the norm. I'm experimenting with different locations, glutes, quads, lats, tri's, etc. so far it's all good - depends on the length of the pin.

Yo bro - nice to have you stop by - thanks

TUESDAY

Forgot my cheat sheet again so just did what I wanted and what felt good.

Romainian DL's
10 x 45 ea side
10 x 70
10 x 90
6 x 115

These felt hella good - did them in the max rack so didn't have to concentrate on balance, just form. by far the most I've lifted. Full on dead stop at the bottom too! Only bad thing about the max rack - I think the bar weighs 25 or 30 lbs instead of 45.

Finished w/ shoulders

DB military press
10 x 35
10x45
10x55
10 x 55

giant set:
delt Side raises
4 x 10 x 20lbs

reverse pec deck
4x 10 x 100

HS overhead press
4 x 10 x 135
barbell seated military press in max rack
10 x 25 (ea side)
10 x 35
7 x 45
I really liked the isolation of the shoulders in this - want to go heavier next time - bet I could really fry my delts with these!

Weight up to 211!!!!! Could 1 dbol = 3lbs water? or was it the bison tacos?
