Hey Mike
Just checked out your album - looks terrific! you are really shedding alot of fat and losing the "smooth" look in favor of cuts! Way to go! With regard to the speed of your loss - I think you have a great start and I would definately look into the calorie count - Layne has a great artical in the nutrition section "Sticky: A Unique Combination of Science and Experienced Pre-Contest Advice by Layne Norton ". Don't know your height but i would guess you need at least 3000 cals just to break even. Sounds like your job is active so maybe more (x 1.5) From that i would subtract 600 cals and with all the lifting & cardio you are doing you should continue to lose fat and not muscle. Also what he says about Fat % in your diet - it's much higher than I thot it would be, but I have been most successful adding fat to lose fat. How is your energy level?

And BTW - nice posing - you've got some impressive guns and a well balanced physique (nice way of saying that you're a big mofo & I'd want u on my team at the church picnic! Hahahaha)

Keep it up dude!

Mike, keep it up buddy. Looking great (no homo).

I'm cutting too and feel the same way so don't worry about it. I feel as though im losing fat in my traps, delts, upper pecs, and legs but not my "spare tire" also. I guess thats the last place it usually goes. I have no idea because I've never actually have tried losing weight before. When I got out of Marine Corps boot camp I was 137 pounds @ 8 or 9% BF and now im 186 pounds @12-13% so my body has changed considerably and so has my metabolism.

The results are def showing though Mike, keep on keeping on.

Cheers!

Cool man - great to read your log - you've got a great attitude. There is a lot behind that "positive mental attitude" PMA? maybe we can beat the 20-somethigs to coining a new abbreviation! hahaha (still haven't learned to text... or spell ....) excellent news about the workouts - u go 4,5,6 days a week? For me it's like a ZEN thing when I'm there - I just tune out the world and think about the weights (and of course the wierd faces i make in the mirror trying to get the last reps...)

BTW - stuck at work this weekend- both Sat & Sun - sucks to work for yourself sometimes...;-) Can't wait 'til the kids are old enough to support me.......Let's see that would be about 2050, June 16th if my calculations are correct...Hahaha.

Later!
