Today was a leg day:
deadlifts:
5x8 @ 100
squats:
3x8 @ 100
1x6 @ 100 (ow!)
1x10 @ 100
hamstring curls:
5x10 @ 30
I fell forward in my fourth set of squats. I guess my mind was elsewhere and i lost my balance. I fell on my knees, but thankfully they're not hurt. My husband was there to take the weight off my shoulders (aww how romantic!) and it was more embarrassing than anything else. I made up the lost reps on the next set! Nothing to do but keep going, i guess.
The top of my quads has been sore the last couple of leg sessions. It's sorta the part in the front of my legs where they connect to my hips. My last few workouts have left me sore for quite a while, to the point that when it's time to do my workout, that part of my quads is still sore. So maybe i need to step up my post-workout nutrition? I have spare calories left today, so maybe i'll eat some extra sugary stuff and do some more stretching tomorrow while i rest.
Nutrition's looking good today. 1537 calories and 168g protein, with 119g carbs and 42g fat for the hell of it!
