Cheers guys!

Kaboom, my goals are kinda lofty at the moment, and my training doesn't correlate with what I want.

Problem is my training partner doesn't want to train the way I do, since he's focused solely on PL and strongman at the moment. I'd rather be training by myself but I swear it's harder than breaking up with a girlfriend. Been training with him for about 18 months and he's taught me a lot, and I don't see him much outside of training.

Either way it looks like this log may be short lived. I may be moving state next week, pending on a job opportunity. It's a shame since I'm coming to love this place more and more.

Wed 5th

Bike: 10 mins @105W
Inline Walking: 25 mins
Cross trainer: 10 mins @L2

dumbbell wrist curl: 50x10, 55x10, 60x10, 12
2" wrist roller: 35x2, 1, 25x1 > each rep being up and down in both directions

For completeness I may as well post what I did on Monday as well, just so I've got at least a full week's training on here.

Mon 3rd

RC prehab
Bench: barx20, 135x8, 8, 225x5, 3x245x5 - controlled + smooth, backoff week.
Incline: 135x8, 225x6, 6 - couldn't groove em today
Hammer curl: 55x10, 60x10 - loose
EZ curl: 120x2 - had to cut it short, forearm pain flaring up again
Reverse curl: 90x10 - seems to help balance things out

I used to do powerlifting (not that I was much good at it), these days it's just a weird mix of things. I wouldn't exactly call myself a powerlifter or a strongman, but I wouldn't call myself a bodybuilder either. More just a guy who likes lifting.

Mr Bhana, it's not the biggest of stacks, there's more than a few guys maxing it out.

Sat 8th

stones: 200 sandstone x 3, 250 concrete x 3 (1 movement), 275 concrete x 1 (2 movements) - need to practice this more. 60" platform. Tried to do the 275 in 1 movement as well but missed.

farmers: 230/arm. 100ft x 2 (w/1 turn). Struggled a bit today, been a while since I've done them so technique was off. Had to do 3 pickups on the first run, 2 on the second.

First pickup quite easy, last pickup right about max.

It's great fun if you can find the room. We just train in one of the guy's yards. He has stones and a loading barrel in the garage, farmers bars out the back and a 750lb tire around the side. Would love to get a log and a sled made up too.

Monday 10th

Bench: barx20, 20, 135x8, 185x5, 225x3, 245x3, 255x3, 265x7*
DB bench: 100's x7
hammer strength isolateral seated row: 3x135x10
JM press: 115x10, 135x10
2 arm DB extension: 3x40x10

*PR. Was actually planning a triple but it felt light
- Biceps trashed from stones so will be moved to shoulder day this week.
