ok guys. here it is. i started my contest diet today. my contest in june 16th. this is my training log. i'll have the link to this thread in my signature so you can go to it anytime you want.

ok here's what i did today

7:00 - woke up
Meal 1

1/2 of dry whole grain oats (quick 1 minute) with 1 cup of lowfat milk (i know i should be using skim milk by i bough this by accident and i don't wanna waste a gallon. plus i'm only 17 weeks out from the show.
anyway, i had this with 1 cup of eggwhites from the carton. approx. 4 eggwhites.
i had 2 cups of diet cranberry juice and a pack of animal flex for my joints.

i woke up with this weird feeling in my throat. it caused me to want to gag so eating this meal was not fun.

the milk added a different taste to the oatmeal but it was still good. i usually use whole milk. it tasted less creamy and had a stickier texture when chewing.

ok, then i went and took a shower.

and around 8:00, it was time to cook my food for half of the week.

I cooked 4lbs of chicken breast. 2lbs for me and 2lbs for my family. i'm so happy i was actually able to help out. i found great deals on all the food. so i helped my family out with about 40 dollars worth of food.

i cooked a box of whole wheat pasta and added some sause with meat which i will not do next time due to the fat being just a tiny bit high.

i boiled 2 sweet potatos for today and tomorrow because i'll have one a day.

and i prepared about a week's worth of broccoli.

that took about 1 and a half hours.

at about 9:50, i had my next meal

Meal 2
1/2 cup of oats in 1 cup of low fat milk
2 cups of eggwhites (8 eggwhites)
diet juice

then it was time to get ready for work.

i worked from 11:00 - 5:00 at my gas station. it was a funny shift. had to take an advil because i had a bulging headache.

i had 5g of creatine monohydrate in water

Meal 3 at 2:00
1 can of tuna
2 cups of chopped broccoli
water

that's all i had for that meal. being on a diet like this can cause you to get pretty hungry at times so i just drink water to get my mind off food. i didn't know cravings for candy bars and stuff were going to be this strong. but i have a strong mental focus and dicipline. i felt pretty tired when i was hungry though. bocolli is nasty. i dont like it but i can eat anything even though i don't like it. i'm not a huge fan of tuna but i eat it all the time.

i got home at 5:30 and ate my next meal

meal 4
2 cups of packed and cooked whole grain pasta
8 oz of chicken breast
diet juice

what a relief. hunger satisfied. the chicken came out very good. my mom helped me with the cooking today by the way. she's great and my family is understanding and respecting what i do more now which i'm happy about.

i did my cardio around 6:45
i did 30 minutes of low intesity walk on the treadmil.
and i did 2 sets of crunches

1x40
1x30
1x20

then at 8:00
meal 5
1 boiled sweet potato
2 scoops of optimum whey protein w/extra BCAA and Glutamine

i was going to do my posing practice but the only mirror where i can see myself is in my mom's room and she fell asleep.
tomorrow for sure.

my last meal is going to be the same as meal 3 before i go to sleep at 11:00 hopefully.
i'm sleepy. i've been really busy with school and work and havn't been able to squeez in my 8 hours every night this week.

alright. thanks for reading

tomorrow is leg day if God permits.

see ya later!

Everything looks good bro. Meals are perfect. Keep it up. Stay focused you have a competition to prepare for. Will be watching this.

Here's some advice; if you want to make this log consistent try to make your meals easier to type. You have a good 5 months of log to go. Wouldn't want to be posting all that just for the meal portion^

Good luck.

i weighed in at 155lbs yesterday
today i'm 154lbs when i woke up
i ate and then took two shits and now i'm 153.6

ok, i hope i'm not loosing weight too fast

if i loose another lbs tomorrow or if i'm 154lbs again and not 155lbs, i might add in some walnuts to add some quick calories and some essential fat.
