the 'side dumbell raises' are called lateral raises bro

there is a short variety of different excercises for traps:
shrugs (barbell and dumbell)
upright rows
are the main (and best) ones. they can be done in a variety of different ways.

for example, shrugs can be done on an incline bench. you lie on the bench (with your head at the inclined end) and shrug the barbell from the floor.

shrugs are by far the best imo but for them to work sufficiently, you have to go real heavy. hope this helps bud

haven't updated in a while, mostly because things are going nice and smoothly. The split has been progressing nicely, and I'v only skipped one leg day 9our secret).
My bodyfat has gone down to 11.5% from 19% and I'm heavier than I ever have been at around 160ish lbs!
Got myself some wrist straps yesterday to help with my back workouts, and overall I am very enthusiastic right now.
Only bummer is that I've ran out of whey, and I cant get any till next week, but Im not letting that slow me down!

The age old cash flow situation, I used to get this really good stuff that was only $30 a kilo, but now its gone up to almost $50. Its school holidays at the moment here so I'm not earning any $$ (been doing emergency teaching).
I wish I lived in QLD, next year I will be moving abroad to start my career properly, and QLD would be nice, but depends a lot on my g.f as well.
I live in Bendigo, its about 150Km from melbourne in the middle of victoria.

time for another quick update
back/biceps today (first time with the straps) I used them for the last set of some of the exercises and I really liked them.
I did
Wide grip pull ups 2 sets to warm up
Deadlifts 4 sets going up to 220lb for 10 reps
Bent over palms forward wide grip bbell rows (phew) 3 sets getting heavier
Seated rows 3 sets
Wide grip lat pulldown 3 sets
Barbell curls 3 sets
seated incline dbell curls (name? the ones with the full rom) 3 sets
seated hammer curls (same as above) 3 sets
1 arm dbell preacher curls 3 sets

Thats a quick wrap up of today, tomorrow is huge, chest tris shoulders and traps, and starting rehearsals for the cats.
