Anyway, yeah it's fatty and I don't care to be honest. I need junk in my bulk in order to gain. I fucked up in the beginning by eating clean, which was loosely called a bulk. Plus...lean pockets are mouth fulls of goodness.

^Lol, I don't think you fucked up persay since you were making gains, but I do understand what you mean, you were cutting your gains short by eating 'too clean' maybe?

Well, to be honest with you guys, it was my first diet. So in the beginning I was a bit off, knew what I was doing, but wasn't eating to the extent I should of. Granted for the last 2ish-2.5 months I've been doing great. Just gains could have exceeded what I have now.

That's all.

And thanks brotha. I made gains, but it still takes me a damn long time to grow, like I said on the BBD Chat, I'm SuperEctoBoy and when the norm it must take 3500 excess calories to add 1lb, it takes me 4500.

New avatar is lookin mighty brolic - big gains in the last few months - good work! I just started looking into the "good" fats - If you can stand it a few Tablespoons of flax seed oil is really good for you - adds toms of calories in a minute - but suck it up fast and follow it up with a tasty beverage. What weight are you up to now?

I think what Kevin and some of the others are getting at are two things, but yall are forgetting one thing.

First, because Kevin is an extreme ectomorph, he doesnt gain fat very easily so he can eat a good amount of "semi-clean" or "junk" food and not gain too much fat compared to alot of people. Often, he can eat this in excess and still not gain a noticeable amount of fat.

Second, because he needs alot of calories to gain weight/mass, he has resorted to doing a semi-dirty bulk because A) its cheap to get shitty food and B) that shitty food is usually FULL of calories, alot of times in the form of fat.

However, what yall are overlooking (and least in what you post) is that this CAN and WILL have long-term negative health effects if your not careful, even with an extremely active lifestyle and a nutritious backbone at the core. Eating a bunch of shit foods is not good for health, and thats the bottom line. But, i understand both of the above points and at your age i wouldnt worry TOO much, but just make sure that you actually start cleaning up your diet when and if possible as a clean bulk leads to a better feeling overall and a smaller amount of cutting time.

I kinda saw this coming after reading the previous posts, I definitely agree on this, but when I mean 'dirty bulk' I don't mean a BUNCH of shit foods per se, I mean I can take a little fat here and there and it won't make me gain excessive amounts of fat or at all, I don't eat McDonalds or junk food on a regular basis either, probably 1 quarter pounder a week now (if this is also what you meant when you said shit foods?).

Um, you've been following my log. CLEARLY the clean diet

I'm aware. I know how to clean up my diet, hence my entire log practically. I also don't feel the hot pocket is throwing me over. And if my diet in your eyes is dirty, filled with junk? You haven't seen a bulk diet. I think I, and all of us are aware of the health effects behind saturated fats. Little do I eat junk, which is shameful considering about 85% of my diet is clean.

Again I repeat, contest preparation. I'm concerned about the health facts, but when in contest prep (which you have absolutely no experience in) you need to what you have to do. That's a non-arguable point. Nonetheless...7 weeks out.

Hell lemme live a little.
