DC training is awesome but the one thing i don't like is that it feels weird doing a 3 day split, im so used to doing a 4 and sometime 5 day split it just feels like im hardly ever at the gym. but i suppose better gains and less time at the gym is the perfect combination.
It does feel wierd at first, but i think the rest really does help alot with the intensity required *beating the log book, you almost have to bring your A game every time*.

Upper Body Workout 2 (beating the log book)

Incline Bench Press:
LT: 65kg - 8, 4, 2 (14) static hold
TT: 70kg - 8, 3, 2 (13) static hold

Military Press:
LT: 40kg - 12, 4, 4 (20)
TT: 45kg - 8, 5, 4 (17)

Skullcrusher:
LT: 20kg - 9, 5, 3 (17)
TT: 25kg - 7, 4, 3 (14) stay at this weight and increase reps next week

Chins:
LT: assissted 12kg - 10, 6, 3 (19)
TT: bodyweight - 8, 5, 3 (16)

Barbell Row:
LT: 80kg x 8, windowmaker 50kg x 20
TT: 90kg x 8, windowmaker 50kg x 20

Reflections: This was another great workout, i managed to beat all my previous totals which is the aim of the game in this style of training. One area i am very pleased with is the barbell rows. I managed to jump 10kg whilst maintaining the same amount of reps. Overall very satisfied with this again look forward to my next workout and trying to beat those totals.

Another day of beating the log book. Heres how it went:

Smith Wide BeNch Press:
LT: 50kg - 10, 8, 4 (22)
TT: 55kg - 8, 5, 3 (16)

Side Laterals:
LT: 12kg - 12, 6, 4 (22)
TT: 14kg - 8, 5, 3 (16) stay on next time

Close Grip Bench Press:
LT: 60kg - 10, 5, 3 (18)
TT: 65kg - 8, 5, 3 (16)

Deadlift:
LT: 100kg x 6, 80kg x 10
TT: 100kg x 6, 80kg x 10

Lat Pulldown (back)
LT: 45kg - 10, 6, 4 (20)
TT: 55kg - 8, 5, 3 (16)

Reflections: Today the workout went OK, to be honest it wasn't the best workout iv ever had. I think it was mainly due to the fact that i had only eaten one meal prior to working out and this doesn't suit me very well. i still feel hungry during the workout so im going to try and avoid this next time. As far as beating the log book went; i beat every previous lift apart from the deadlift, this was because i forgot my straps so i equalled what i did in my workout before just without straps. So in a way i kind of beat the previous lift, but no excuses i didn't lift a heavier weight so i didn't beat it. Next workout there will DEFINATELY be an improvement. I AM SURE OF THAT. As long as i remember my straps.

Lifts are improving alot, I am also a DC'er. Keep with it.. my log book looks like a little kid took a pencil and wrote numbers and alot of profanity in it. It beats you up if you dont beat it.

I've seen nothing but sucess from this workout style and I'm happy to see someone putting alot of effort into it.

I started about 6 months ago and my bench (for example) started at 200 lbs for 8,4,3 and now im up to 250 bench as of yesterday for 7,4,2 and feeling great.

Don't forget to blast and cruise, you get terrible muscle aches and joint pains if you don't.

Keep Lifting Big,
TheWall

Nice improvements... keep it up. What stance do you use for deads?? going from straps to no straps truely is an improvement... so no need to worry about that one.

cheers bro, thanks for stopping by. Its good to see fellow DC ers here at the dungeon. I am really enjoying this program so far i am having great success, especially strength wise, my lifts just keep going up

as for the blasting and cruise, i am aware of this. I am going to listen to my body and when i feel i need a rest i will cruise for about 2 weeks, I will still go to the gym but will not be lifting heavy weights.

thanks jake!

for the deads i usually use quite a narrow stance, im not too sure why i go narrow it just feels most comfortable when doing it this way. i suppose i beat my previous on the deads but next time i will be lifting a heavier weight. 100%.

thanks for dropping by

Great Stuff!

You can ask some of the most knowledgable BBers out there about DC and they will tell you everything BUT blasting and cruising. I'm glad to see that you are doing well and that you know your DC.

Eat Up,
TheWall
