on bench i did 315 for a set of 6, then 335 for 2 sets of 6. i have strong triceps so the wide grip was hard. as for your bench, you never know until you try. you should add them in whether its incline, close grip,decline etc...because its the best overall upperbody mass builder. im glad the change worked good for you, its less taxing on your aerobic and more on anaerobic system. damn dude 8 pieces of meat at burger king!!!!! you and your girl got down lol!!!

no never competed yet but planning on entering a powerlifting contest in the future. probably when i turn 21.

cool how old are you right now those are some big numbers for your age and everything I know with the highland games I want to crack top 10 for being first contest but I would also want to see if I could set a world record in 1-5 years throwing the 16lb hammer 51 yards or so I havent tried that yet but will see lol maybe i will make a fool of myself but its all in fun.

im 20 right now. i think thats an awesome goal for the 16 lbs hammer, go for what do you have to lose. i think you can do it if you train for it. i just started a new job today, its physically very hard on the body. so im gonna train a little different. im a plumber helper right now until i get certified. today i was supposed to train but after carrying 3 400lbs cast iron tubs today and installing them, i dont think so. this is gonna be my new training program,

day 1-max effort bench
(incline,closegrip,widegrip,floor press,rack press,boardpress,db press)
work up to a max single on one of these workouts and switch to a diff. workout each week.
triceps- (skull crushers,french press,closegrip,jm press) do 4 sets of 3 to 7 reps
(tricep rope, v bar pressdowns,db extensions) do 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps
* choose one of each of these tri workouts
abs- 3 sets of side bends

day 2 - max effort squat/deadlift
(box squat,rack squat,sumo deads,conv.deads,goodmornings,stiff legs)
* same tempo as above
hamstrings- leg curls-4 sets of 5 to 7 reps
lowerback(hypers,stiff legged deads, romanian deads,half deads) 4 sets, 8 to 12


day 3- back,shoulders,biceps
back(bb rows,db rows,iso rows) 4 sets of 5 to 7
(lat pulldowns,rev.grip pulldowns,seated rows,face pulls) 4 sets of 8 to 12
shoulders(millitary press, db press, arnolds,pushpress)4 sets of 5 to 7
side laterals- 2 sets of 8 to 12
(bent over side laterals, pec deck rear delts)2 sets of 8 to 12
biceps(straight bar,preachers,hammer) 3 sets of 6 to 8
(concentration,machine,db) 3 sets of 8 to 12

* do shrugs on bench day 3 sets of 8 to 12

today i worked 9 hours tired as heck so i did a very light easy workout tonight
7/27/06 back,biceps,shoulders
rev.grip pulldowns-90x15,140x12,12,12(i can always do way more at gym mines gheeto)
db rows-95x10,10,10
sidelaterals-25x12,40x8
front plate raise-45x10,10
bent over side lateral-25x12,12
db preacher-25x10,10,10,10(very slow, easy but great pump)

thats it only an hour workout, tommoro at work i have to install a 500+ lbs cast iron tub, + a 375 lbs cast iron tub. the hard part is me and the guy im working with have to carry them from the driveway, into the house ,up the stairs, then install. its gonna suck but thats my workout for tommoro.

damn I see why the lifts were low with that kinda weight at work I know how you feel I work at a school then when I have carry up boxes of books it freaking sucks the weight is light 55lbs just having to go up stares I get sometimes a flat of 25-40 boxes I have to bring up myself what sucks, or its like oh were bringing in something heavy get bryon I remember we moving an oldschool shredder from a military thing what could shred cardboard guy put his side down without telling me and my side came down on my pinky got cut open and looked disfigured the guy said that he was about to pass out because the way it looked I wasnt mad I said come on lets keep moving it LOL.

im actually switching over to bodybuilding now. the job i have makes it hard to lift max weight.

bench-barx20, 145x12,12,235x10.10.10(im used to touching stomach, now to my nipples feels totally different)
db pullovers-95x8,95x8
flyes-25x12,12,15
db curls-25x12,40x10,10
concentration curls-25x10,10,10
15 minutes of cardio

my muscle endurance sucks, i have a hard time with high reps but im gonna get better.

nice session man I just read my log and what you said and everything I added what I did for chest today might hit tris or legs not sure. good lifts u should do good in bodybuilding with ur strength and everything like that yeah I hate diets I had to for wrestling then I said fuck this shit lol. well myself just been lifting and eating.

man in n out are a-holes so today I ate 2 tuna sandwhiches and had half a bag of almonds my girl said if I was hungry I said yeah so we decided to go to in n out they wouldnt make me a damn 10x10 they said we could only make 8x8 then 2 patties on side a-holes lol.
