im 20 right now. i think thats an awesome goal for the 16 lbs hammer, go for what do you have to lose. i think you can do it if you train for it. i just started a new job today, its physically very hard on the body. so im gonna train a little different. im a plumber helper right now until i get certified. today i was supposed to train but after carrying 3 400lbs cast iron tubs today and installing them, i dont think so. this is gonna be my new training program,
day 1-max effort bench
(incline,closegrip,widegrip,floor press,rack press,boardpress,db press)
work up to a max single on one of these workouts and switch to a diff. workout each week.
triceps- (skull crushers,french press,closegrip,jm press) do 4 sets of 3 to 7 reps
(tricep rope, v bar pressdowns,db extensions) do 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps
* choose one of each of these tri workouts
abs- 3 sets of side bends
day 2 - max effort squat/deadlift
(box squat,rack squat,sumo deads,conv.deads,goodmornings,stiff legs)
* same tempo as above
hamstrings- leg curls-4 sets of 5 to 7 reps
lowerback(hypers,stiff legged deads, romanian deads,half deads) 4 sets, 8 to 12
day 3- back,shoulders,biceps
back(bb rows,db rows,iso rows) 4 sets of 5 to 7
(lat pulldowns,rev.grip pulldowns,seated rows,face pulls) 4 sets of 8 to 12
shoulders(millitary press, db press, arnolds,pushpress)4 sets of 5 to 7
side laterals- 2 sets of 8 to 12
(bent over side laterals, pec deck rear delts)2 sets of 8 to 12
biceps(straight bar,preachers,hammer) 3 sets of 6 to 8
(concentration,machine,db) 3 sets of 8 to 12
* do shrugs on bench day 3 sets of 8 to 12
