Welcome to my training log. I just started a new training split this week, and im doing the HIT training were I change my reps every week. This is my split right now...
Day 1 - Legs & Calves.
Day 2 - Chest, Tris & Abs.
Day 3 - OFF.
Day 4 - Back, Bis & Calves.
Day 5 - Delts & Abs.
Day 6 - OFF.
Day 7 - OFF.

Today was Legs and I trained with xtweak at his gym. It was a pretty intense workout and I felt like passing out after doing the hack squat machine. I didnt get to SLDL and Leg Curls, I was a bit dissappointed. Here it is...

1. Squats: 90x15, 110x15, 120x15, 135x14
2. Walking DB Lunges: 30x15, 25x15, 25x15, 25x15 (30's were a bit too much)
3. Hack Squat machine: 50x15, 60x15, 70x15, 80x15 <ds> 50x4F

I was very tired at the end of my hack squats. On my failure, I immediately dropped to the bottom and xtweak thought it was pretty funny. I laughed afterwards. I need to work on my DB Lunges next week, my technique was not the greatest. Overall, it went well tonight. The high reps sure did whoop my ass.

Earlier in the day
45 mins. on Stairmaster
10 mins. on bike

about time you posted Paul, it was pretty hilarious on that last set of Hacks too. I told you those high reps would kill you, its just about the greatest feeling ever and you want to cry the whole time. Next week you better start lower with the lunges dammit, make sure your knee comes close to touching the floor you pansy.

it was a good workout, very intense (for you) see ya later this week and keep your log up

Paul I just noticed your squat numbers are wrong. They are actually

95x15, 115x15, 125x15, 135x14

and yes, you workout for muscle not strength, although I did try to get you to sway over to a powerlifting type of physique for a little while since you were struggling on your diet. A year from now you'll have good strength, especially with your back and biceps as those are your strong points.

Tonight was Chest, Tris & Abs. It was a pretty good workout, but im not to happy about my weight on these exercises. I guess that happens when you've been using dumbells forever and never doing barbell work. Heres my session...

1. Flat BB Press: 95x15, 105x15, 115x10, 95x15 (pathetic)
2. Nautilus Pullover machine: 100x15, 110x15, 120x12, 100x15
3. Incline BB Press: 65x15, 75x15, 80x10, 65x15 (pathetic)
4. Flat DB Flyes: 15x15, 20x15, 20x15, 20x15
5. Overhead Rope Ext.: 40x15, 50x15, 60x15, 50x15
6. Hammer Strength Seated Dips: 50x15, 60x15, 70x15, 80x15
7. Abs

Like I said, im not happy with the weight on these exercises. Oh, and on every chest day, I do flat BB press and incline BB press one week, then ill do flat DB press and incline DB press the next week and keep switching every week. Just to make things different, lookin for more improvements doing it that way. Well, atleast I kept it intense tonight.

Earlier in the day
45 mins. on Stairmaster
10 mins. on bike
(My quads didnt bother me as bad as I thought they would)

your bb weight will go up faster than you think, your body just isnt used to the motion and it will take a couple sessions to get the technique down then you'll put up better numbers.

Those pullovers are awesome I tell you, which cable machine did you use? The light one or heavy one? Im assuming the light one, so messed up they have 2 different ones and they are totally different in weight.

Those high reps are kicking your ass, thats how it should be muahaha.

See ya tomorrow probably
