It seems that I may have pulled my left trap a week ago. I was doing heavy db shrugs. UP to 80lbs per hand for 7 reps a few days later it really hurt. I was out of action for a week because of catching a flu thing. The pain went away. Then Saturday I worked on my legs. Halfway through my squats I started to feel the pain again. When I did standing calf raises it really flared up. It seems that when it is stretched it hurts. Right there where the trap meets the shoulder or the arm socket.
What I am wondering is should I stop my trap workout and do other shoulder and back exercises until it heals or stop my shoulder workout for now? I usually workout my shoulders on one day and back another day but being that I am looking to lose my gut now I am combining those 2 days into one so I can use that day to run some.
