I broke my ring finger and tore the tendon on my middle finger. The ring finger is healed. Sort of as all i need to do now is tape it off the the middle finger which has a funny looking plastic cast on it to the first knuckle to keep it hyper extended to promote the tendon from healing. The two fingers can make a grasp of a barbell but are pretty week. Movement on both is very limited. They told me that in 14 days they will have me start PT that will improve Range of motion. They being the Army doctors.
Can anyone give me some suggestions, please they are welcome. I've taken 11 days off, well only cardio and legs.

****y, Id say use cables for curl, crossovers flys etc and smith if you want to do bench even squats as your not going to have much movement with on hand and probably shouldn try to freehanded rack and unrack weight. Hand could hold but not wrap around handel and bar pretty easy. and take it easy not worth reinjuriing your hand and slowing healing.

I personally would just wait until fully healed, you don't want to accidentally injury your fingers again. BUT, if you can't do that then I'd suggest using strictly machines for upper body. Alot of freeweights require you to wrap your fingers around the barbell. (I'm assuming you can't wrap your fingers firmly or do any pulling exercises) I'd focus on machines that require you to push, like hammer strength incline for example. That way you can just use the palm of your hand to push the weight up and not incorporate your fingers at all or use them to control the balance/weight.
