Last week I was working chest and having a pretty good workout. I went from dumbbell presses to the pec fly machine to get a good squeeze in on the pecs. I was on my second set on the machine when my right pec felt strange.
There was no pain but it almost felt like it was starting to bunch up at the top of the muscle where it connects to the deltoid. I immediately quit my workout and headed home. That night it was twitching and hurting in that area. I put some
ice on it and that night it felt better. I thought nothing of it after that, just a little twitch.
Yesterday was yet time again for chest day. I hit the dumbbell presses, hit some incline bench, and it felt 'off' the whole time. I finished up with some light incline flyes and went home. It sometimes hurts and twitches, but there is no real discomfort.
Anybody have any similar experiences? What might have happened?
I'm going to go ahead and take a week off, and if things don't improve I am definitely seeing a doctor.
